Complete blood count (CBC) lab results interpretation for nurse practitioners
In todays video I am going over the CBC lab results when treating patients in the nursing home setting. This is episode 2 in the lab interpretation series.
When you check a CBC you are checking your patients white blood cell (WBC), red blood cell (RBC) and hemoglobin/hematocrit and platelets. I am explaining these lab values with some example on how to better care for your patients especially for us Nurse practitioners who care for patients in the nursing home setting, since we have limited resources at times.
