Just so everyone knows if you use the new planar set and ruan mei you already get about 16 speed putting firefly at 125 speed with traces leveled up. You can probably just go atk boots and try to get the other 25 speed in sub stats. Or just go speed boots and ignore speed sub stats.

actualy firefly's skill is so important to max now since now she gains more energy based from the skill of her level she will get %50 max energy when her skill is level 1 but she will gain %60 energy when her skill is level 10 so skill and ultimate probably should be the same priority even if not ultimate at least with talent

so basically you don't need to level up the basic and skill as the mecha state dmg is considered as ult dmg?

skill on firefly is important for the energy so u need to lvl it and its more important than basic atk

How much break effect should Firefly have on her own to reach 360% Break effect when including buffs from other teammates if you're using let's say Ruan Mei, HMC and Gallagher?

From what I heard it could be that Ruan Mei is getting a Rerun in 2.3. And well, i'm not really sure if going for Firefly first would be a good Idea. I'm lacking some really good Supports and DPS', atm. I got Aventurine with my Guarantee and i'm skipping the 2.2 Banners. I reworked my List with a smaller Amount than before because of that and choose the Characters that make my Account ready for everything. Those are Huohuo, Jingliu, Kafka, Ruan Mei, Sparkle, Dan Heng IL, Acheron, Black Swan, Silver Wolf or Jiaoqiu (if he's better than SW) and Firefly. I bought the Express Pass like 3 Weeks ago because I was running short on Stellar Jades, btw. So, should I pick RM or Firefly?

The planar ornament set is unfair because its very specific. They should have change it to when the wearer hits enemy targets with the wearer's weakness . Wearer's Break effect increases by 40% . This way , it makes the set more versatile and also a bit niche towards break comp play style.

Does FF only has fire implant from technique? If yes i might pull boothill since he has physical implant in his ult, which i think is better for multiple content.

I have to disagree with the S1>E1 statement. The massive QoL of FF not using any skill points at E1 is enough for it to be picked over S1, considering how fast she'll be consuming points with her speed. This is also not counting the DEF Ignore it gives as well. I'd even say the priority is E1 > E2 > S1, because E1 is THAT busted as an eidolon. S1 isn't even necessary for FF, Aeon will be enough to 0 cycle and it's free.

I don't know if this team is good if I got ruin mei Aventurine, Firefly, Harmony Trailblazer, Ruin Mei I don't really like Gallagher on Aventurine I invest alot on him If I not get Ruin Mei Aventurine, Gallagher, Harmony Trailblazer and Firefly I know why I put a Shielder and a Healer It's just for a increase break effect using Gallagher I am on 35k right now and I am on 65 Pity on the character banner And lastly I already max all Aventurine is trace and best set stats on It that why I can't get rid of Aventurine (He is my first Max trace and the best 4k Def, 60% effect rec He Can't get Stun when it shield is Up) And I am starting building my Harmony Trailblazer

Totally stoked for her. Yeah it’s a shame you are locked to almost one team like many have showcased and other teams are behind by a bit, but when that team basically turns the game into easy mode E0S0 then yeah I would say it’s a worth pay off. Anyways, she looks awesome, managed to pull boothill early so now can comfortably pull her too, and have both her and Boothill fight over Ruan Mei lol.

I think people are underestimating her sig lightcone. Breaked enemies receive more damage and reduced speed? Thats perfect for Firefly. That means they remain broken longer and Firefly has more chances to attack while in her ultimate state to do more super break damage.

Good guide, but it's missing a lot. Leveling talent and basic is worthless, while leveling ultimate and skill should be your priority as talent is simply DMG reduction. E grants increased energy gain, while ult grants speed in form. E1 should be more valuable than S1, as it frees up Aeon for another DPS, and also provides def shred + SP economy for your HTB to spam E for more dmg. A fine-tuned team can do this without E1, but it would need more investment by your gallagher. The weakness extension by RM should be more than enough to kill the opponents without S1's extension. E1 also allows you to slot bronya instead of gallagher, should you so wish, increasing your flexibility as well as allowing future units (perhaps such as Jiaoqiu, who may not be as SP+ as gallagher) to fit into the team. It also paves the way for E2, which is stupidly broken.

they shoulda made it so that firefly's ult can be used in complete combustion, causing firefly to immediately exit the state in return for an extremely high damage attack edit: from what i can tell, firefly's basically a break scaling, 5 star hook while combined with blade's HP draining

i disagree with ur lightcone vs eidolon argument. i feel like the free herta 5* destruction lightcone works perfectly fine with her and the difference just isnt big enough for me. in reality i would say over anything, getting a ruan mei is best value and then after than its probably firefly e2>e1>lightcone

People don't realize that Its normal if firefly is the best fps on release she has perfect relic and planar set, perfect teammates, boothill have bronya in his best team despite the fact that DMG crit and ATK are nearly useless on him , he just needs to wait for a better support and he will be on the same lv as firefly or even better we don't know.

For a "complete" guide, it's missing a lot of information like the calc to explain why her damage is comparable to Acheron. And other answers like why this lc is good and that one isn't, etc. You didn't even explain why she's so op. Felt like you just read the information straight from r/fireflymain and make without the explanation. Otherwise, good quality video
