Another way to increase hype of the outfit is to talk to another Sims in friendly interaction “hype outfit” until that outfit is Hot. Also random but worth trying.

Nice video! I love that it's like a continuation of Plopsy kind of, in that I can sell more than just knitted clothing now! It would interesting to combine them so you could create looks and sell homemade clothes - also I love the retail store idea.

Such a weird system! Why would we want to buy stuff without seeing it? 😄 Haven't played around much with this system yet. Looking forward to modders improving and streamlining the follower system at some point. Also really hate the styel influencer trends, having sims randomly appear in outfits I designed at some point but didn't approve for that specific sim does not match my controllfrwak playstyle. 😋

Oh! Setting trends could be really helpful for people playing historical or themed saves, as changing each townie individually gets so tedious! It won't do all the work for you, but it could help a lot!

I wish i saw this video earlier. I just had a sim start selling clothes on trendi. I did not know that if you sold an outfit piece, all of the swatches for that piece are now locked and listed as sold out. Is there a cheat or a mod to remove or reset that lock?

It would be nice if we were able to use cc to create outfits

i like trendi for about 5 seconds before i realised i could just sell each outfit for 50k. takes all the challenge out of gameplay to be able to get rich that quick within the confines of gameplay 😪

This would be great regardless of the blind-entry if the bags aren't only one use. For some reason I can only use a trendi outfit once and it won't allow me to re-equip it...

Yeah, EA placing a cap on how much sims can charge on Trendi will probably happen at some point because that's what they did with the retail stores in GTW game pack. At first, a sim could make lots of profits from selling their merchandise despite needing to replace the stock. Now, they cut it back significantly, so Sims have to work more hours and sell more items to earn profits. Though I like they made it more realistic, they also went too far and made it too tedious, as well. Now, I find myself not using this feature as much. Also, same for fishing certain fish like sturgeon that was once worth thousands of dollars in the game is now listed as worth in the hundreds only.

It ruins any reason to make money. Hype a few times then sell for 100k easy. Works every time any amount. So no reason to di anything else for money. Boring. But if you want money..go for it.
