Posting Commonly asked Questions and Concerns here. - *I feel like some people aren't getting my humor about DPS powercreeping previous ones one by one. (while it has truth, but it's exaggerated) JL is not strictly better than IL or Blade. For now she takes full advantage of Bronya (which is OP), IL is waiting for skill point support, BLADE is waiting for HP buffer. While JL + Bronya did reach the top, but please know why and give Bronya more credit for being busted. 1. Do we really need speed boots if we have Bronya though? A1: To reach peak DPS levels, maximizing 0 cycle MoC clears. Ideally JL have 135 SPD, Bronya have 134SPD. 4 JL actions per cycle 0 in MoC. More SPD can't hurt for further cycles but Bronya need to match JL speed but slightly lower. This is very skillpoint heavy and limits teambuild as Bronya uses ONLY SKILL. (not casual friendly at all) A2: Another good option is to go ATK boots on JingLiu while having BRONYA with super high speed (150+) and use a SKILL+ BASIC rotation. This is much more Lenient on skill point usage and opens up the DUO's teambuilding options at the same time. (very casual and budget friendly) 2. More DPS than DanHeng? fake news? A: You have to realize how well JL utilizes Bronya, where as DHIL still lacks a Skill Point support. Alot of that Damage comes from Bronya, She used up all your skill points. 3. When taking into consideration the Rutalent Arena set bonus condition, does her talent count towards that 70 CR threshold? A: Yes, Rutalent Arena goes by IN COMBAT character stat sheet. The extra crit will be reflected, unlike the ATK bonus which should be instance based. 4. Should I pull because powercreep etc? A: No, don't let fomo get to you, pull for the CHARACTER not the Damage. I can confirm my old Iphone works just fine, and looking stylish. 5. Should I go E1 or LC? A: LC is better. Not only it performs better on average in terms of output, it also gives more DEF and HP. AND it's cheaper to pull on average with a 75/25 rate instead of a 50/50. 6. Doesn't JL atk bonus from talent scale with HP from teammates? A: Yes, it's is capped. To reach this cap, keep allies healed so there is HP to consume. But reaching the Cap is quite easy, you don't need a full team of tanks and HP scaling healers. You'd be looking to build more HP on supports and ATK scaling healers on Luocha ANYWAY for tankiness. Having JL or not, this doesn't change too much. 7. Does FuXuan reduce DMG JingLiu does to her allies? A: No, similar mechanic to blade, no. Also goes before shields which is actually good because you don't want shields to stop you from gaining atk% buff. 8. I don't have BRONYA can I use TINGYUN? A: Yes Hyper carry without Bronya and Tingyun instead is great. It's also way more comfortable and flexible with other teammates. Bronya+JL is the best DUO but severly damages JL's teambuilding flexibilities! TingYun is way more casual friendly being skill point positive. 9. Can Bailu/Lynx/Gepard/Natasha/FuXuan Work? A: Every sustain is fine with JL, she is not that picky. BRONYA is the one that's picky with playing with Luocha. Because BRONYA is way too demanding of your skilllpoints. If you arn't playing Bronya any healer/sustain works. 10. How is it possible that Brighter Sun better than Unreachable side? When neither of them can be triggered? A: Brighter sun has 53 higher base attack, which is ALOT and scales with all the ATK% buffs JingLiu receives! 11. If I only had 1 each of Herta Shop LC, Clara's LC, Secret Vow and have ALL of BLADE, DANHENG, JINGLIU how would I allocate the three lightcones? A: A very specific question but I love it. It's actually very easy for me to chose here. Clara LC on JingLiu, Secret Vow for Blade, Herta Shop LC for DANHENG. 12. Quite confused. You said Jingliu get 50% crit rate from her own + 8 from set which needs 12 more to get to 70 why did you said 7 extra only? correct me if im wrong. A: every character is born with 5% crit rate, you don't have to start from 0! 13. I don't Have E4 Pela is she still Viable? A: Of course! in fact E4 Pela's resist shred comes at a cost of 1 skill point, which otherwise needn't be used. Using this skill point massively reduces the comfort of using a Bronya (SKILL ONLY rotation). Most of Pela's value already comes at baseline at E0 and no eidolons are needed! 14. I have a question about ERR: in her rotation (2xNS, 3xES, 1xUlt), she gains 135 energy (2x20+3x30+5), which isnt enough to ult again on the next rotation. How does she gain that extra 5 energy? A: you are absolutely correct about that ERR math. But I want to point out the BIGGEST error in most theory Crafting for any DPS's ERR is that you MUST include kills that give Energy, 10 per kill, getting hit is 5-10. As a MAIN DPS you can't avoid killing things even if you tried, I challenge anyone to use JingLiu/BLADE/DHIL in any content and avoid killing anything in 4 turns. If 4 turn passed and nothing is Dead, we have a way bigger problem on our hands than Energy. 15. Would like to ask for the Light cone rankings, are their CONDITIONAL passives taken into consideration? Like eg. for Secret Vow S5, you get 40% DMG guarenteed, but is the extra conditional 40% also taken into calculations ? A: YEP all my calcs are normalized for condition uptime and difficulty of trigger. Eg. Secret VOW 50% is considered instead of 40%. Herta shop LC have a 50% uptime... etc

Wish I knew she got so much crit rate from her ascension skill, I've been hunting for more crit rate for her artifact sets. Guess I need to go replan it now haha. The quantum artifact set though, interesting train of thought there. I'll have to try it out in the future. EDIT: Just put all the artifacts I've prepared on to Pela to have a look and I'm at over 40% crit rate.

I wasn't going to pull for her, I got yanqing and used a lot of xp but I didn't like him, I unfortunately lost the 50/50 in fu xuan banner to bronya e1, now I will try to get jingliu to have a good ice damage dealer

You cannot get 3 stacks of syzygy without using your ult inside her special state. And if you are using her ult inside her special state, you should use it at the start if you are running the 4 piece of the ice set for the crit damage buff for the rest of the enhanced skills. So, you will ult as soon as you enter her special state. It will also make the ult crit more consistently improving your overall damage.

Just want to say that I binged like 2 hrs of JL content and really liking the way you present the content (liked & subscribed!). I want to highlight my appreciation of you breaking down the Eidolon dmg% increase but also explaining that the trigger condition uptime is only ~15% - that really helped me get over the potential FOMO of wanting to pull for E1. Other content creators only stated the dmg difference w/o mentioning the drawbacks. The relic % breakdown + explanation is also really useful and helped me decide to farm quantum instead of ice since I'll be using Pela, and helps me prep for any quantum characters I might use in the future whereas I heard the ice set isn't that great in general.

This is by far one of the best guides I've seen, especially with the Q&A at the bottom. Take my like and subscribe. I wish you all the more success.
