Yes, I would've painted the inside of the cupboards and the underneath of the washer and dryer. Aside from that it is most important that the dryer vent had a good cleaning but I am certain you guys would've done that. It is a huge improvement and looks great.

What a cute washing corner. In South Africa, you don't buy a house with appliances. Everyone has their own appliances and it moves with you when you do. It's always very interesting to see what all the different countries do.

I bought three of those rolling carts a couple of years ago. I use two of them in my quilting studio and one in my remote home office. They are extremely sturdy and and have held up amazingly well despite being moved all over the room.

It looks very nice. The inside of the cabinets would have felt fresh and bright if they had been painted white. I also would have painted the cement floor that’s exposed. You could hang a small towel bar under the cabinet where the shelf doesn’t go all the way across to hang items that don’t go in the dryer.

That thought occurred to me as well but you can only invest so much time and money in a renovation. The new owners can paint the inside of the cabinet and floor if they care. I think they have put a lot more time and money into it than most renovators do. Kudos to Hannah and her husband!

Thanks! We could’ve painted the inside, but just didn’t have time too and he forgot to spray it when he sprayed the walls. this cabinet will likely be storage for things like paint cans, screwdrivers, paint brushes etc. those type of things

I completely understand there is only so much you can do. I’ve enjoyed the whole process. You guys do think of little details that make a huge difference that most people who flip a home won’t do. Yours will definitely stand out from others on the market. For instance…the mud room bench in the garage. I’m all about the details.

It looks great! I really like the use of wallpaper in that spot. Those upper cabinets are so tall, that I am glad you left room on the side for a fold up step stool. I do think the inside of the cupboards would look better painted, even though they are just for storage. It just feels incomplete or something left unpainted. I too, would have painted the concrete riser that the washer and dryer are resting on. Maybe the same color as the cabinets. The shelf you added looks nice, but it seems like it would be awkward to put a jug of laundry soap on it because it isn't flush with the washer and dryer? But, it still looks much better than before!

Great job again! Love the wood stained shelf! Might have used some of the wallpaper on the back of the cabinets if the wall they are attached to is flat and not brick. Love that there is a cart and basket for the area. The painted and new hardware looks great! Love the coat area by the door!!!
