For Pre Mech you can also use the meteor staff since it does more damage and uses less mana than the sky fracture and golden shower

in for the worthy, late pre-hardmode to mid hardmode is very different since you can get cobalt armor prehardmode and an UNNERFED inferno fork since skeletron spawns diabolists

What I find curious about this is recommending the use of a thunder zapper when the diamond staff - which you already recommended - is just.. better, with similar use time and projectile speed, but higher damage and better crowd control potential.

Thunder zapper is actually much faster though and it’s projectiles move faster too

Thunder zapper can shoot much faster and besides it having lower damage, allows it to hit moving enemies much faster. It also shreds eoc.

You could use ruby or amber staff. Ruby and amber staff has the same piercing and the dmg is just 2~4 dmg lower than the dia staff@@landonbadour1105

every weapon listed is just better for WoF, demon scythe can’t keep up especially when i did it on master mode, laser gun is just better with meteorite armour imo

What happens if i do Master mode what mage items would i use then?

I believe it doesn’t matter since master mode is simply just harder enemies and the gold statues bosses drop, other than that it’s only really a difficulty tweak, so the guide should still apply.

How to obtain thunder staff or diamond staff

Thunder Staff can be found underground in the desert, where those rooms with chests are. However, you can also get it by fishing in the desert and opening the Oasis Crate, remembering that these are probabilities. You can make the Diamond Staff with 10 platinum bars and 8 diamonds on the anvil. However, you can also make the Ruby Staff with 10 gold bars and 8 rubies, if your world has gold instead of platinum.

Why don't I every see people use the zapinator for prehard mode if you have the right loadout and get some good rng it melts wall of flesh in master mode I thinks it the best dps prehard mode
