COMPLETE Rust 2021 Guide to Electric Circuits Beginner to Pro
So in today's' guide we tackle the wonderful world of RUST electricity in this updated version of my electric circuits guide in 2021. I will show you how the Rust electricity system works in more detail and talk through components such as pressure pads, timer switches, small batteries, medium batteries, large batteries, HBHF sensors, AND switches, flashing beacon light, audio alarm speaker and many more.. I will work you through some basic circuits starting off with the small battery and a ceiling light. I will then show you how to link solar panels, wind turbines and multiple solar panels to one power source in order to run more electrical items in your circuit using a root combiner component.
I will eventually show you how to stop door campers in rust using the HBHF sensor and a sentry auto turret. All you have to do is link the door you're using to a door controller. link up to a broadcaster or an aerial antenna and let the items talk to each other by setting them to the correct frequency. The wireless rust electricity components are the most underrated. No wires and let the signal link to your RUST pager. Remember not to run with the signal automatically entered into your pager otherwise you will give people access to your electricity system. The biggest point I have is to NEVER use your door code for your electronic frequency otherwise you won't only lose your electronics, you will lose your base too!
Remember to leave some love if you're a legend and subscribe if you want to see more.

For anyone new to rust or new to electronics in rust. From someone so completely lost for so long burdened by anxiety of trying. Just watch a video while playing and copy step by step what the creator is doing. Do that a couple times then on try 3 do it the best you can. Just trying and doing works as you get more comfortable and learn the pieces and how to keep track of power usage. Grab a notebook if you need. Simply once you kesrn what each component does and use it you'll figure out how to use it. After I applied this into practice after 4 hours I set up my own helicopter pad to have blinking lights like on an actual runway to see at night. Then, everything becomes so much fun! The hunt for HQM becomes REAL! LOL enjoy rust everyone. Personally. I find making my electric room so God damb zen like now! Like looking into the soul of the base.

Solar panel placement: look at where you are on the map. If you are in the north half of the map, point the solar panel face south. If you are in the southern half, face it north. Also for ideal power, where it raises/sets depends on if you are west or east on the map, and it may be up to 15-20 degrees from East/west which will allow you to adjust the panel slightly left/right by the same amount.

Depending on which hemisphere you are on determines which direction is best to face the panels, even though it doesn't look like it in game the sun follows a central equator, if you are in the southern half they need to point north and vice versa in the northern half.

great video thank you for the tips ! you can also use the door controller and a pressure plate to open or close a door, with NO batteries. pair the door controller to door like shown, run a line from the pressure plate to the door controller. if doors are open when pressure plate is set, doors should close when you step on the pressure plate. the doors should open when the pressure plate is set, and the doors are closed.

So I have a question. As I understand the power so far, there doesn't seem to be a way to send power only to places where it's needed? For example, let's say I'm generating 19 power, and I have 3 turrets. It is only enough power to run a single turret, but that's fine. Let's say I want to have turret 1 active for 2 minute, then cycle to the next turret for 2 minutes, and so on. Is that something possible to accomplish? Or do I basically need to have the capacity to run every single component in my base at all times?

I noticed something weird about branches. when I connect a branch to my battery it will show the exact amount of power I configured on the branch on the "active usage" regardless of if the item I am powering with the branch is on or not (I even tested with nothing connected to the branch output.) So is the branched line supposed to consume the power even if the item its powering is off? Or was it some kind of glitch?
@daniels9111

havent found anyone explaining whats the reason of editing the power in the electric conductor yet. What if i set it to 99 and keep taking energy from that?
@AniCodYT
@AniCodYT 2 года назад
its a pass through. you can set it to 99 but it will only output the same amount of power thats going into it. if you are putting 10 power in and you set it to 30, you will only get 9 power going through (1 for the branch)

How is a splitter wasting power ? Branch is wasting power, but it's still better to use
@AniCodYT
@AniCodYT 3 года назад
you can choose how much power a branch outputs, with a splitter you're stuck with what it outputs which means you will get wasted power in your circuits that could be used elsewhere
@kaarelk274
@kaarelk274 3 года назад
@@AniCodYT But it's not draining your battery. If you have a switch for every splitter outputs you can turn down the active usage with the branch switches dont matter. And branch needs turbine or many panels. But yes, i'm using branches too and turbines are the best
