So you are not in a weird stop of "I can get X on Wednesday, but it's Monday morning. So I condense, yet I will still need to use some resin on either Monday or Tuesday, in order not to waste it"
2:05 btw iirc that swordplay light cone stack per hit, not per action. so if u manage to get Sushang stance triggered when her ult buff is still on, u get full stack within 1 E 6:25 Also after u ult, ur sword stance trigger count as 3 times, so u will almost max stack if u trigger that 3 times
I wished you showcased her in combat and gave some tips on how to play her best. Like usually if the character takes a turn and the ult is available, you want to use ult first so that your skill/basic can fill up the energy. But with Sushang, you want to skill first then ult so that you get another turn. This way, you get 3 attacks. If you use ult first, the "advance your action by 100%" part becomes a waste (since you're already at 0), and you only get 2 attacks. Also, say you get hit and your energy is full. You don't always want to use her ult immediately. You should check the action bar. If your next turn is going to be before the enemy anyway, it's better to wait for her turn, and then do skill - ult - skill. If you use her ult immediately, again, you will waste the push from her ult and can only do 2 attacks.
He did showcase it when explaining Sushang's ultimate. Her being nicknamed as a mini Seele basically notions she can take an additional action during a turn in some situations. Timestamp 4:25
@@zerioification Shes pretty easy to use. Her main source of damage is her E after her Ultimate. Ultimate gives atk buff and an additional 3 attacks from Sword Stance, so a total of 4. Using E on weakness broken enemies guarantees a Sword Stance so Ultimate plus E is huge damage.
Tbh, I think almost all 4* stars in this game are viable in some situation (or best, most. Like Tin Yun and Natasha). So yeah, if you have the resources, just build all of them
Even before the game came out, when I saw Sushang's design, she was my favorite. I rerolled 7 times to try and get Bronya while also trying to get Sushang. Not a single copy. I wishes 85 times on Seele's banner. Still no Sushang. I'm LIVID I tell you. If i don't get her on the rate up, I'm gonna actually cry.
i‘ve been very lucky and even got her E2 and swordplay :> also got sampo and his light cone twice! all this and i havent used a single jade since the beginning of the game ^^* i‘m at ~22k jades already (tl40)
@@SStrikeFury my standard warps have been really lucky, was also able to get another sampo lightcone (now S3), and welt‘s lightcone at 76 . i plan on spending my jades on sw soon tho, i‘m at around ~27-28k
I’ve gotten weirdly lucky with her on my account, I got her in my first pulls in the game and have her at E3 now also have swordplay at R2, she’s amazing
I have seele but against bosses and breaking weakness there is hardly any bosses you need quantum damage tbh but so many need fire wind and imaginary lightning and physical
I have the Swordplay light cone but I run my Sushang with Sleep Like The Dead she's an absolute battle monster that tears through enemies regardless of weakness break I love her sm she's also really fun to use with Bronya and/or Tingyun
If you do use river flows I honestly don't recommend shielding with march because her shield will increase agro and against bosses more often than not they will just break through and do damage. I don't use it is with sushang but i run the cone on yanqing and just put fire blazer(gepard would probably be preferred) on the opposite end of the line up to draw aggro.
Got her on beginner banner dont know if she’s good or not at first until around TL 20 decided to build her. Glad I did that, she carried me until now for physical dps
Now that Honkai is finally out for PlayStation i started putting work into my characters. When you said spd can be used for her i asked myself. "Do i have atk or speed boots?" I checked. One def 4 spd boots....
Unexpectedly I got her E1 from SW banner and she’s not even in it😂 I’m so happy Tbh I really like her from the start. Her slightly goofiness and somewhat have a bad luck remind me so much of Beatrix from GBF and I’m gonna main her for sure.
Is it worth investing in Sushang when I’ve already invested into Dan Heng and plan to pull Jing Yuan? Ik she’s good, but unsure if worth the scarce resources
I see things like this: Dan Heng is a straight forward dps that can hit hard, while Sushang is a straight forward dps that can also hit hard but multiple times. Because this game is turn based, not Genshin, my answer will be Yes, invest in her. Dan Heng at E4 gets what Sushang has allready at E0. It's like she will always be "one step forward" comparing to Dan Heng. This step forward is a big one, makes her special and with this comes the potential to be also good, long term, for a F2P player.

When i was new to the game when seele's banner is still active, i keep getting her. Basically maxing out her eidolons. I think hoyoverse wants me to keep sushang
According to 7 turn damage sims Sushang does the worst damage out of every hunt character, coming in 20% overall damage less than the second worst hunt character. Her skill atk multipliers are so low that even Hook outperforms her on single target fights, even more so if you have eidolons unlocked. Being skill hungry and being the worst damaging *DAMAGE* character is kind of atrocious.
Im thinking of building her since I have her on E4 and I really wanna try out how she fights. Is it worth fully investing since I already got her at lvl 40 with a lvl 40 5* light cone?
holding off on pulls after getting Seele. Waiting on the next banner to hopefully get Shushang :). Sadly I had 3 copies of Swordplay but made a mistake that instead of super imposing, I used the 2 dupes as level up fodder instead... It still hurts days later....
the lightcone part is outdated, swordplay is for every hit, not attack, and she hits only twice while other hunt characters can abuse this with 3 or 4 attacks

You should add a section where you actually use the unit and talk about what you prioritize. I think some of the theory stuff isn't that interesting like the traces, it's usually pretty obvious what to level and what not to level
I must be doing something wrong with her. I got her a little while ago and read good things about her, decided to build her as well.. but she does like 1/3rd of the damage compared to my Seele even though their stats are very similar.
Her skill cares about the enemy being inflicted with weaknes break. but does the game check that before or after she attacks? trying to understand if it also counts, when Sushang herself is inflicting the break herself with her skill. does it still trigger or does the enemy need to be broken already?
Sword stance is guaranteed as long as the enemy is broken at some point during the attack so she can use it on an enemy that isn't broken and get it, just as long as that attack breaks them. E1 however requires them to be broken to begin with, otherwise it doesn't kick in.
i have a question ,so i got seele and sushang in my account but i also got seele's 5 star light cone two of them. should i superimpose the two seele light cone and use it for seele and get the 5 star light cone from herta shop or use one for seele one for sushang?
Nice guide! However, you didn't mention the other two 5 star light cones In the Night and Sleep Like the Dead, IMO they are much better than Cruising in the Stellar Sea for example.
But the issue is this.. Cruising in the Stellar Sea Lightcone can be now superimposed upto 5 which is better than those gacha 5* which is in superimposed 1
dan heng with bronya or tingyun does more because of his talent and abilites revolve around critting and getting buffs. Although on her Susheng has more damage
Sushang deals more consistent damage. Dan Heng's conditions to out dps sushang is too slow as he needs Wind Res pen + attacking on slowed enemies for his max potential.
@@malsawmzela609 thats in terms of DPS. it terms of Damage per Screenshot, Dan heng is above Sushang if all his condition are met (attacking on slowed enemy + Win Res Pen activating)

Somehow I got e3 sushang at the second day of hsr release (I am not a whale or anything I am a f2p player and I don't even grind that much I am still at lvl 38)
