The easiest way would be to freeze the ice cream in the same cake pans lined with plastic wrap you used to bake the cakes. Once the ice cream is solid assemble as you would any cake
OMGOODNESS!! I always buy my granddaughter a Ice Cream Cake for her birthday n they r expensive n usually not to good, but not anymore I never knew they could b that easy to make. Thank u for that super easy ice cream recipe, of course ima have to make 1 ahead of time just to test it out😉💞

My daughter makes custom cakes, I don't know if she makes ice cream cakes, I suppose she does. She is a fantastic artist too so her creations are amazing. But she is far, far away. Your cake looks delicious, as usual I will be tempted to make this. Luckily there are a few things to buy that will help me withstand this temptation. LOL ;-)

Maybe if you had a particularly tall one, but I’ve tried making a very similar ice cream cake in a springform pan before, and it didn’t allow for the ice cream layer to be thick enough. That’s why her method intrigues me and I want to try it her way. :)
Maybe you can help me out, I made my son an ice cream cake I left it in the freezer over night I took it out to serve and the cake was frozen I used whipped cream from the store on top of the ice cream I wanted a soft cake to bite into

I see you have the stand mixer I wish I had but never use it, so I am thinking these hand mixers must be pretty good. 😀
I'd always seen the ice cream put on a cake pan because most people don't have space in their freezers. The cake is then assembled when both the cake and the ice cream are frozen.
