frlg probably has the best post game content, but i can't say that for sure because i don't remember any gen 5 post game, I need to replay through it! I know it doesn't technically count as post game but swsh crown tundra dlc does make for some fun "post-game" content. This was a great watch, can't wait for even more videos in the future! I'd be totally down to see you do a trainer card quest.

Loved the new vibe to the compilation montage b4 the elite 4! In regards to my stance on FRLG, I'm 100% picking up on what ur saying, lonely times but the birth of a nostalgic genius game. FRLG are absolutely the definition of timeless games that connect us now more than ever.

I started with Blue but my favorite game in the whole series is Leafgreen. I absolutely love these remakes for the first generation. You finishing this DTQ makes me want to finish mine. 🙌

Nuzlocke but u can only use shiny pokemon (full odds shinies) or a similar challenge that involves getting shinies could be interesting

I played through my copy of Fire Red a year ago and Soft Reset for Shiny Deoxys. I was blessed with a very quick hunt. 2 days of resetting to get it. (I don't track resets lol) Just this past month I got a Japanese copy of Emerald and taught myself to RNG manipulate on it. Was such an amazing experience getting a full shiny dream team to beat the game with. Gen 3 was also "The Dark Ages" for Pokémon in my friend group. We were in middle school and girls, sports and M rated video games became what was "Cool" socially. My brother was way longer than me and if it wasn't for him making me still play Pokémon through that time when none of my friends were I would not be playing today.

I don't know how it would work or look, but some sort of small 20 min ish documentary on shiny hunting would be cool. I think something like that coming from you would be really cool to see! I don't really know what phases ;) shiny hunting has gone through, but maybe a timeline of shiny hunting and how it has evolved would be a cool project.

I actually kinda like the breaking TMs and limited move pools in these games. It makes you use different moves other than the usual powerful TMs like psychic and ice beam, and also makes you think about who you give the TMs to. You may have to play around with moves you’ve never used before

First of all, great battles! We have a very similar style of playing these games, funny to see xD To answer some of your questions: Yes, I like gen 3 a lot! This is also the 'lonely' age for kid me, but adult me sometimes maks new memories with these titles. Love to challenge friend to Lv.55, linking up to the Gamecube and battle in 3D or just simply wireless somewhere we meet. My to go gens are 1/4, stopped playing newer games since gen 5. Heartgold and Soulsilver are my favorites I think, but honestly it's a tough call. The Stadium mini games are also very much fun :3

I really liked the complication recap at the beginning, I hope you do more of them! Throwing in those RP elements was a really nice touch. A couple things I'd enjoy seeing added to them: Show the counters for each specific shiny separately, in addition to the total count that you displayed. Maybe also share your reactions to getting each shiny? It might break up the story telling vibe too much, but just a thought. Just my 2 cents, overall really enjoyed it!

I just gotta say, I absolutely love your videos. You remind me of myself back when I used to shiny hunt! The way you go into detail to explain the reasoning behind your hunts...I watched a lot of your other videos. Like your video where you got that shiny Wailord using that glitch where you can bike hop on the water. Even the little details like making sure you have a Pokemon that has Damp so that a pokemon can't use Self-Destruct, or Suction Cups so that the pokemon can't use Roar or Whirlwind. On top of that, you're hunting for 1/8192 shinies! In this day and age with all the tricks and shortcuts, people these days just try to pump out content as fast as possible...but what's so special about a shiny 1/1000 shiny? Not my cup of tea.... Anyways, this comment isn't supposed to be about bashing other shiny hunters. As long as they're having fun, that's all that counts. This comment is about praising you! Keep up the 1/8192 hunts man. I know it exactly what it takes to get them. I used to be big in the shiny hunting community over a decade ago. Going over odds was par for the course. You've done some really cool hunts, too! You're braver than me, going to look for shinies in the Safari Zone so frequently, lol. Hearing this music gives me so much nostalgia....would hear this music playing all day during the summers. Random encountering all day, applying repels, hunting on 4-5 GBAs or DSs at a time...life was so simple back then. You have a new subscriber. Keep the 3rd and 4th gen hunts, coming! The 2nd gen hunts are cool, too!

Metal claw charizard was wild back then. If you transfer it up to current play it really surprises online players 🤣 btw I agree with your item finder comment! It is wild how many pp ups and rare candies are there in the whole map! Holy crud I totally forgot glare doesn’t work on he had 🤣

Great to hear your thoughts on FR/LG, I feel exactly the same. Actually on my own DTQ in LG right now, resetting for Charmander myself, always wanted a shiny Charizard, never had one. Not sure about the rest of the team yet! There's my pointless comment of the day :P

The FRLG postgame is great, but I love the USUM postgame too, with Team Rainbow Rocket, also HGSS is really nice if you count that.

I really hated Oak in this game. His grandson became the strongest trainer in the world and he only came to tell him he was disappointed in him. Shows favoritism to someone who isn't even friend or family. Grandson didn't deserve that.

Yeah, Glare doesn't work on Ghost types for Gen 2 and 3, but works on them in Gen 4 onwards I believe

Fairy-type shiny challenge would be fun to attempt in Sun and Moon :) I just ordered myself a copy on EBay for Leaf Green so I'm excited to play through it again (not sure if it's legit but hopefully it is).

My favourite post game by far is Emeralds battle frontier by far! I hope it returns some day in one form or another.

I love shiny Dragonair way more than Dragonite, but I think the colours green and purple don't clash well, like blue and purple, or green and black might be nicer. Also the shiny looks better in some sprite where the colour is darker, like if it had a darker green or even a different colour on the belly I might like it more

Hey, your channel is a inspiration for me, i hunt now shiny cyndaquil and i'm stop in 3.000 SRs I dont know, is so hard!! Is my 2° shiny hunt, wish me lucky!! My first shiny hunt went with munchlax (732 SRs)

FR was my first ever Pokemon game, I finally found my first copy plus one (don't know where the second copy came from but I'm not complaining about being able to double hunt the starter). But I'm going for: Charmander Oddish Voltorb Seel Doduo Hitmonlee

Do you intend to make a LeafGreen Version with opposite Pokemon to your team. Kinda like: - Bulbasaur - Sandthrew - Vaporeon - Kabuto - Staryu - whatever you like

I still to this day have not played FRLG and I don't know why. I think I missed out on it back in the day cause my family was too poor, lol.

I think they get 3 poitons and one status heal, but some like the champ get 4 potions
