Glad you're pointing that out. Many folks have bought ruins in Portugal and are renovating themselves, without any building licenses, approved projects and such... and sooner or later they'll find out that they cannot sell or rent, not even on AirBnB. If what they bought was a stone barn, they now have an expensive stone barn... but not a home, so no added value. A UK couple viewing properties in Portugal this summer said they found plenty of lovely renovations for sale, some of them just what they wanted, but when they asked to see the documents a lot of excuses were given... and no documents! No Habitation License, no paperwork showing the renovation was done according to current regulations... Nothing! Lesson to learn: if you are going to renovate a ruin yourself, get an architect and professinals involved from the very beginning, to do the professional work and agree in writing how much you'll be paying for them to supervise your own work and sign the final paperwork.

You can get a builders licence in Portugal as easy as getting a bus ticket.

Please take this as a positive comment. People want to see your videos about your stay in Portugal. You are losing subscribers and therefore potential revenue. At least make a video explaining whats happening.......your subscribers would love to know.
