What a great place! What else a person might need? You could open a cafe right there, and have a beautiful land in the back. It need some elbow grease, but it has plenty of room, even to rent for income. I hope the people that buy it make it shine again!

I had plenty of beers at that coffee shop in the 90's. It was owned by the richest family in Arega. I remember one time negotiating with the owner's wife about buying a crate of beer and guaranteeing I will bring back the plastic crate and the empties. Sometimes one of the drinkers would close the front door when a funeral procession came by on the way to the cemetery.

A great business investment, i would think you would need at least 500,000 Euros to make this a fully operational business

110k. (New kitchen $15-20k, new bath $10k, walls etc. +10k, and new roof.) Just to live upstairs. Business might cost just under 20k in the first year (might make 40-80k a year.) A spare building in back of property would cost around $200k+ for renovation, roof beams plaster, mortar, windows, sewer, electric, water. Outbuildings another 100-200k. That's about accurate $500-600k 5-6years in rebuild. You'd need adequate parking if you're looking to make more than 80k a year from that business. If this was on a construction loan to avoid risk.Build time: 6 years and 500-600k.

What for real? no way all that Building and land for that price, yes a lot of work is needed but there has to be a catch for that price, I need win Lotto now so I could snap it up. I'm in the Philippines at moment and you not even get close to that much property for that price here

@@destino2portugal selling portuguese houses to non residents, that just will ressel it short after or start short rental business, will increase dramaticly the local housing prices to a level that became impossible for locals... It happened already in many places in Portugal. Hope that dont happen in that area also. Locals and imigrants living here should be protected. In many places non residents are not allowed to purchase residencial houses. Exacly what Portugal should start to do.

@@destino2portugal pay attention to what is happening to this country because real estate speculation, and that that is making the new generation to emigrante because they cant afford to buy or a rent a houses in Portugal. Bringing foreign speculators is a disaster to the country. See what happened to Lisbon, Porto and other trendy destinations...
