At this time (feb 22) the soundtrack isn’t on streaming platforms either, but “Vol. 1” implies there will be at least a second volume (I hope).

The fact that your remixes are now in the top charts in Russia makes it a truly historical moment. I cant name a single case when a videogame OST was that popular. So sick.

The song Komarovo is literally about take off for a week to Komarovo village. And to got a relax at seaside (sandy beach here lasting for dozens of miles, surrounded by pine forests). Just google what a lovely place it is - "Komarovo Saint-Petersburg suburb" The "DVRS Phonk slowed" remix accurately represents charming atmosphere of this place. Appreciate for such great OST.

When i was younger, Fallout series made me fall in love with jazz. I idolize Frank Sinatra, i casually listen to Ella Fitzgerald and Ink Spots. And god, i hope, that Atomic Heart will introduce our western comrades to such beautiful music as soviet pop. Zemlya v illuminatore, Stoyat Devchenki is one of my favorite songs that this game introduced and as i grew with that music all around me, and i still love it (and sing it in shower lol). As a lyrics of one songs in this game goes: Music has bonded us It become our secret I hope you guys enjoying atomic heart and it will give you some inspiration to deep dive in Russian culture, that stuff can be amazing! You absolutely nailed the vibe on the pt-1x12 music, that music was freaking amazing man.

As a russian gamedesigner I m really glad that the compony made full use of such a chance. To introduce western audience to the ussr hits and hire top ppl in the industry to do it. And I think its important that not russian but western composers took that pieces and reinterpreted it. And now ppl can see the originals and compare. Its soo cool. Thanks for your great work.

Honestly, as a Russian I would've said that the idea remixing a bunch of old Soviet songs as a combat music for FPS sounds campy as hell, but you pullied it off spectacularly.

Arlekino and PT-1X12 are my most favourite by far. When I first heard PT-1X12 I genuinely thought it was Mick's work, that's how good it it. You've outdone yourself with that one, kudos. Can't wait for Vol.2 if it's coming, hopefully it is.

Your cover of Trava u Doma is a goddamn masterpiece. You managed to take the old USSR rock and turn it into modern djent metal without losing the charm of the original song. GENIUS!!!

Letting my older relatives listen to them, who caught these songs at the moment from the release, they said "wow how cool they sound, this is an interesting look at those songs from our youth especially Arlekino and Ya ne Casanova"

At first, I was sceptical about the remixes, because I know these songs from childhood. But after I've played the game I can not get them out of my head! What a great job! The only thing I will complain - there are so few songs 😂 What masterpieces. I am really happy they didn't hire somebody who is familiar with the old songs, but the guys who never heard them and are not emotionally tied to them. Can't wait for Vol. 2 and second game - there are a lot more songs to be remixed!

When the original version of "Zvyozdnoye leto" that was plaiying from the loudspeakers on the poles suddenly but smoothly changed to the mix when I found myself surrounded by vegetable zombies I've felt the genuine delight! Thank you for this feeling!

About Arlekino - interesting detail not mentioned - that last word from original "Lish odna nagrada - smeh" (Only one award [is] laugh) was changed to "Lish odna nagrada - smert" (Only one reward [is] death).

oh my god. the pt-1x12 being based on the tchaikovski's song noooo freaking wayyy. your version is literally the best and most balanced metal i have ever heard, it is catchy, well changing with bits and pieces., it is a masterpiece. wow, i have just saw you for the first time you are a cool guy, wishing you more huge collabs you are the talent. edit. the work you have done is immense. this vol sounds sooo goood. And the Trava u Doma, holy moly it is sooooooo sick. cant help but listening to it nonstop.

I believe i know a lot of those songs from Ну Погоди! That show was amazing to watch as a child. It wasn't just popular in Russia but in almost all post soviet countries. I'm glad the Russians made this masterpiece. And hearing those songs remixed in the doom style gives me some sort of weird nostalgia :D

As a child, I watched "Nu-Pogodi" a lot (there were simply no other recorded cartoons), and naturally, in the subcortex of my consciousness, I sat down "Na nedelku v Komarovo ..". And for 4 years now I've been fond of phonk, so DVRST is one of those artist, which are always on repeat in my playlist. And his remixes of that song made such goosebumps, that is impossible to explain. Thank you for a video, thank you for music, and that reference to Chaykovskiy is insane! (Sorry for mistakes, i tried my best to write this comment, hello from Russia :))
