COMPOSER reacts 😲 to FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE OST Those Who Fight Further 'The Airbuster' 🤖 

FIghting the Airbuster was incredible, definitely one of my top FF7R moments.

I love how this songs just ramps up at the begin of the boss battle. Music done well just makes gaming experiences so much better. I’m glad the Japanese always Pay attention to music in their video games.

When I fought this boss, heard this in the game... I can't even describe it. I was so hyped and happy, I had a tear in my eye, and my face hurt from grinning. It's... good lord. This track.

The thing I liked best about the remake OST is how it plays with your expectations. For someone who is familiar with the old music you can see how they bring themes from all over into the boss battle, and the music foreshadows some of the things that are being brought forward which you had to wait 3 disks to encounter in the original. This boss battle is a lot more ominous in the remake, it's the beginning of a conspiracy that doesn't exist in the same way in the original. In saying that, listening to it with you, some of the parts do drag which I didn't notice.

"A relentless wall of sound" This. Exactly. Just like the song itself, the fight is relentless and theres only brief breaks for air. Youre toe to toe with a giant killer robot and a timer is running down while this relentless symphony blasts in your ear. Just like the song youve got to go full power right from the start and never let up or you get pounded flat.

They really did the originals justice with the remake sound track. This one especially just brings out an energy and makes you feel awesome inside.

I think video game music will be more common in formal concerts in years to come. FFVII has incredible music.

As the song goes on I feel it really portrays the emotions of an escalating battle. "The jump into the fray, the conflict, the struggle, the doubt, the second wind, the climb, the rally, the push, the victory" not my quote, but one i saw in a comment for a video of the song, and I cannot agree more with it. I really liked the drums in this track. It's pretty much the only instrument that is always present and at the forefront. The brief rests they take almost feel like when you quickly inhale between notes when you play a wind instrument.

Ff7R - Rufus Shinra Voss theme. A good one to listen to after hearing this version of the standard boss theme.

Hell yes! I hope you react to JENOVA Quickening next! It's an absolutely amazing track about an Resident Evilish alien! One of the best tracks in all of Final Fantay!

I absolutely love this theme. I even downloaded it and use it as my wake up alarm. Surely nothing wakes you up in a better mood then an absolute Killer Song with a bit of metal~

I would recommend Dark messenger from Final Fantasy 9 which is the boss theme for the antagonist Kuja. It might also help to listen to Kujas theme before because both songs are connected.

I replayed the entire original FF7 right before the release of remake and it was so cool to hear how they reimagined all the original themes. I hope u play the remake when you are done with the original too!

You need to do some of the Jukebox themes from FF7 ReMake. They are nice jazz rendition of popular FF7 songs. My favorite is "On our Way", and "Cosmo Canyon". The saxophones are everything in these renditions

This song is just pure energy. Like a coffee shot. And the FFVIIR version is like a double espresso with a monster. It's just insanely good. Can't wait what SE will do in part 2 of the Remake.

I think the relentlessness of this track has to do with how relentless Airbuster is as a boss.

You have to react to FF8 - Liberi Fatali, incredible piece of art by the master Nobuo Uematsu, and you should listen to distant worlds, it's a Final Fantasy orchestra that goes around the world, they even have differents albums on Spotify. Takes the music to another level!

Nice that you reviewed this particular hot track! The Airbuster Boss Battle theme is my go-to song during my cardio workouts. It definitely pumps you up with each increasingly insane transition phase. The mash-up of bass, electric guitar, and drums on top of orchestral instruments and choir is pure fire through and through, and never seems to let up!

You should really react to any of the songs from Final Fantasy 14, the MMORPG. That's where they took a lot of the inspiration for the remake's remastered music. They've been experimenting with remixed versions of famous FF songs on 14 for years now, and they've translated that onto FF7R and the upcoming FFXVI

Just came across this channel and I loved your analysis! One of my favourite boss themes ever. My suggestion for a future video would be Mortal Instants from Final Fantasy 14. I think a breakdown from someone hearing such a simple yet powerful piece for the first time (providing you haven't already heard it) would be really insightful.

Just defeated Airbuster last night. An absolute pain in the ass but this song was almost worth the pain and controller throwing.

It's crazy to think that the first minute or two is the soft and gentle part. This song goes so hard, that's not even a sufficient phrase to describe it. A black hole can't crush it as hard as this song does.

I love the music from ff7 remake so i was interested in what you think about this one. The game has so many awesome tracks. My favourites are the crab Warden Theme, valkyre Theme and the Rufus fight theme.

The composer for 'Those who fight further' Nobuo Uematsu formed an instrumental rock group with two other Final Fantasy composers called The Black Mages. In 2003 they did a rock/metal version of this song for their Black Mages album. If you ever want to hear an even more intense version of this song arranged by its original composer.

This game have an awesome OST, with some great masterpieces. Like jenova, the new one winged angel, or rufus battle theme, but sooooo much great song you must listen.

Those songs gains a lot more when they are alongside gameplay! This song particular has so much power metal vibe which I'm not fan of, but inside the game it's just perfect!!

When I was playing I literally couldn't focus I was appreciating everything, the music, the gameplay, the whole fight, the nostalgia of my favourite game, I had to pause for an hour and realize the masterpiece I've just witnessed.

I don't know if you're an avid gamer especially regarding the FF series, but I would suggest you take a look into the music of FFXIV:ARR and beyond. The composer for it is some kind of genius (Masayoshi Soken) in his ability to not only keep on delivering again and again, but in a variety of styles also. I seriously do not know how a single man can produce such a huge amount of consistently on point compositions.

It would be amazing to hear you react to literally anything from Chrono Cross! It's my favorite game of all time and is widely considered to have one of best OSTs in gaming. Could you check out: Troupe Master (Grimm+Nightmare King Grimm) Hollow knight DLC OST It has a lot of Electric Guitar on it and its the most known Hollow Knight Track. The World of Hollow Knight is Very Much as Dark as That of Dark Souls taking place in a Kingdom of Bugs Now Infected by a Pleague known as the Light unleashed by the Moth Goddess of Light and Dreams Radiance. Grimm is a Vampire Moth Traveling From Kingdom to Kingdom Seeking Flames. after weve collected Enought for him We Fight him wich he Descripes as a Dance or Ritual Combat after Defeating Grimm we are send to collect The last Flames Around the Kingdom after wich we return and Enter Hes Dream and Face him For the one last time, 2 times more powerful. Overall I think youd like the themes.
