I traveled to India about six years ago and visited Bangalore and Kerla ... Despite the widespread poverty in India, a taxi driver named Imran invited us to his house and introduced to his family, and we were his family's guests for dinner. It was very valuable to me. Iranian fascinating hospitality has it's origin in the Persian civilisation, one of the world's oldest civilization. I'm so glad to see my fellow Indian bhaai being greeted with such an amazing hospitality which is inexpressible in words. Hope someday I may experience those stuffs as well.

Absolutely loved it!! I constantly had a smile while these vlogs. It's the people like these that makes the experiences so much better! Couchsurfing should be given the Nobel prize for bringing people across the world closer! It truly defines the meaning of "the world is a large family"! Looking forward to more adventures.

i'm Iranian and i hate the mandatory military service , it's such an old fashioned way to provide manpower for armed forces. almost all the other countries have moved toward a professional army. i sucks to force young ppl to do things they dont necessarily want to do. and every month around 5 iranian soldiers commit suicide because of this mandatory service that forces them to a military service they dont want.

@@man08839 Is Tourvashu going to show the ugly sides? I guess no...all countries have issues, I met so many Iranians (Muslim, Jew, Zorastrian) fleeing Iran and living in US. Yes, the basic living standard in Iran is much higher, and extreme poverty is rare....but mental issues are there everywhere in Japan, in US...in US opiod problem is huge, people are depressed....basically even when basic needs are satisfied, people can't live happily, they need a sense of freedom, purpose, autonomy which is missing for the majority in all modern societies. India me purpose dobaar khana jugaar ne ka...to logon ko mental nehi hona parta...but then farmers suicide bahot common hai.

Compulsory military service is good as it creates discipline and also patriotism for country.

@@rotrooney it's a fools idea. The bond people make during Military service is not found in any form of work and this creates a nationalist culture in country. We Indians also need compulsory military service of at least 2 years.

They are hospitable n friendly n intelligent also. Nature has given them rich resources n many countries are jealous about it. Compulsory Military service or Conscription or National Service is practiced in many countries like Taiwan, Israel, Switzerland, Austria, South Korea, Egypt,Turkey,Greece and my country Singapore. I was an ex military and police officer before.
