I haven’t read all the other reviews so maybe redundant but you DEFINITELY need to section your hair at least into 4 larger sections and blow it from underneath much more. The root lifter attachment should be used FIRST so that you can smooth the hair with the brush attachment AFTER you’ve lifted roots. I’d also suggest reading the directions before doing the video to maybe help us mire. Thank you for the video
Jamie, I’m a little late to this so you’ve probably figured this out for yourself by now, but with this and ANY brush dryer, it’s a MUST to use a Heat Protectant before you use this kind of heat tool to avoid damaging your hair. Also you’d get even better results you dry from underneath and in sections.
Thank you so much Jamie!!! This is a great review on the product! (Also the first vid I've seen by you!!) I like that it came from someone with about as much "Hair know how" as me!! lol. I have thick, wavy hair...so I'll be excited to see what the differences are between how it worked with you and how it will work me. Thanks again for the time you put in!
I was like 6 and got my moms boat bristle round brush stuck in my hair, almost at the root. I just remember being scared, don’t remember how she fixed it 😂
For straightening you should be drying in sections from bottom to top - not just from the top (especially if you have waves as mentioned). This review is not helpful at all especially for different hair types to get any idea of usefulness of this tool. Back of head is clearly still full of waves as noted and needs flat iron, but was not mentioned. Not helpful and feels like a promo because it’s untruthful in the demonstration.
Thank you for your feedback! ♥️ I'm not a hair stylist in any way, just an everyday person review. & I'm not making anything from this review besides getting the product itself for free - so I'm definitely being genuine! 😍 💯🥰💋 but sincerely thank you for your feedback! It is helpful.

@@sparkleandgrow so did you have to flat iron the leftover waves in the back? That thing is just too chunky to get close enough to scalp to apply tension and get those out, I have difficulty with a brush that’s 1” thick to get those out with a dryer, and once they are dry there’s no flat ironing them. It has to be re-wet and dried or rewashed.
I don’t understand why you would do an “instructional” video BEFORE you read the instructions or even open the box and look at the product. It is also ESSENTIAL that you use product especially a Heat Protectant!
Hi Jamie, thank you for the presentation. I have the knot dr with attachments. However, my hair is short and I was wondering if Conair has a bush attachment slightly smaller. Also, I would be interested un finding how to properly use the comb attachment (which side to use it) to add volume. The only disappointment I have with the Knot Dr is no instructions to review.
The volumizer comb attachment should be positioned with the dome pointing up, you just poke it into the base of the hair and lift and hold. Sort of what you would do if you put your fingers into your hair at the roots.
Oh no 😭😭 I don't have very full hair so maybe it doesn't have much to tug though lol. Thank you for the feedback! 💖 That will be useful for someone reading!! 😍
You are not even doing it right. Maybe it would be a good idea to actually read the directions. You did not do justice to this product when you just grab it and don't even bother reading.
