Actually the brokers did the insider trading, they came to Martha because she benefited from the advice her broker illegally had his assistant give her and ordered her total immunity to cooperate. As it continued the broker told her to go ahead and talk because he was being convicted anyway. She still refused to cooperate by telling on her friends, so they trumped up conspiracy , obstruction and perjury charges to punish her. She was essentially convicted for not ratting out her friends
@WWE is my city she was promised immunity, if she ratted out her friends,, she didn't so they made up bogus conspiracy and obstruction charges to get back at her.
The Apprentice: Martha Stewart? I thought it was called something else. I remember that show! That's the show that introduced the world to Bethenny Frankel. She actually lost and some waspy Anglo lookin' chick won. Martha's version of Apprentice only lasted one season. She had her daughter as one of the judges. Not the best decision. After looking at this video I now see I need more Martha/Conan in my life.
