@@phildh9150 Yeah because everyone in the show business is a pedo or a maniac preying on kids... There's a reason why most child actors appear more mature than their age, when you are casting a kid for a major role in a movie/series you want them to understand their character, so they do look for young persons who have the maturity to bring something to the portrayal of their character. It all starts here.
That kid was one of the nicest kids I've ever seen on TV. You'd expect a kid in that position to be a right little sod but he was really humble and kind. By now I'd expect he's happy and well-adjusted, and got bored of the fame, probably retired...then settled down with his sixty-eight year old girlfriend.
Umm... That kid was at the corporate offices of his meal ticket; Of course he's going to be on his best presentation! That kid has probably never been so nice in his entire life!
Ironically, Conan became sort of an teen / tween idol years later, not for his music or looks but for being extremely entertaining and honest. Look at his visits in universities or alike for confirmation. Or the end of this remote, simply hilarious.
Yeah at first I was kinda put off by the way he spoke. He sounds like a know-it-all brat at first but if you try to talk to him like Coco did, he's a chill dude
Nitro192 Did you actually look at crime-rates when you posted that? Crime Rates right now are lower compared to what they were between 70s and 90s. In New York City alone 2014 was the lowest year of Homicide cases. That already proved that you are a moron so unless you give me proof I am not gonna check anything else you brought up. If you now look at Medical research and scientific study, that has gone farther than anyone in the 90s could have even dreamed off.
***** It's common sense, Just look at society as a whole, I guess to the denser of the population such as yourself though. It's less obvious. Recently said in a press conference "An epidemic of prescription drug abuse is devastating American families and draining state and federal time, money and manpower," Rep. Hal Rogers (R-Ky.), chairman of the House Appropriations Committee Just recently we found out, Prescription opioid painkillers are responsible for more fatal overdoses in the U.S. than heroin and cocaine combined Depression recently became the most diagnosed health issue today. According to data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), one in 10 American adults report some form of depression. Eleven percent of the US population over the age of 12 is on antidepressant medication. The same medication responsible for many mass shootings such as columbine high school massacre and more recently the Aurora shooting massacre involving John Holmes who was being treated with the same medication. Just two years ago, Marcia Angell, former editor-in-chief of the New England Journal of Medicine, discussed how a shocking 46 percent of Americans fit a diagnosis for one form of mental illness or another. This problem is not limited to the United States, however. In fact, according to a recent study published in The Lancet,4 mental disorders and substance abuse combined were the leading cause of non-fatal illness worldwide in 2010, contributing nearly 23 percent of the total global disease burden! Data for the study was obtained from the 2010 Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study,5 which includes data from 187 countries. Depressive disorders were the most common, followed by anxiety disorders, drug use disorders, and schizophrenia. Not to mention our youth have their faces stuck in a phone most of their childhood instead of actually "living" it. Instead of honoring talent like we did back then, Now. We honor who has the biggest ass and who moons the crows during their concerts like Miley cyrus, nikki minaj, etc. Wake the fuck up, society has been degrading rapidly over for the past 15 years. You can see it in the general happiness of people. You seem like a teenager so it's hard to explain an era to someone who wasn't old enough to appreciate it.
That kid was surprisingly not annoying, I thought it was funny he knew what Charles in Charge was. Also, he was what, 13? Going out for lunch with a 25 year old girl? That's a bit creepy.
empire hey dude. it's only 12 years so what? i mean donald trump does the same shit and he's number one on the GOP's presidential canditate's list for 2016. You know what i mean? haha. at least this kid really wants it. Don't be such a bitch dude.
Conan talks to Riku. Seriously... Conan doing a character in Kingdom Hearts would be awesome. Heck, bring Jordan Schlansky on board. Jordan would just awkwardly stand there and complain about the impracticality of using a key as a weapon.
People saw kids like Hanson in the same way we see Bieber nowadays. The technology improves, and we make a few progressions in society, but the general attitude has been more or less the same since the 80s, if not before that.
+Joshua D Young rich people tend to appear annoying, partly because they don't know how to be humble, partly because people are jealous and can't admit it.
These 40 and 50 year old women that work at Teen Beat all day must be really creepy. Imagine 40 year old men standing around all day looking at pictures of pre teen and teen girls figuring out which one is the cutest!
Reminds me of the late nights staying up with my brothers waiting and watching this show thanks Conan for all of those happy and memorable late nights.
Lol. When he's got his hair slicked back and the orange glasses and beard he reminds me of Bono. The see-through shirt in that bit is also very nice. ;-)
Conan joking about AJ's ticking time bomb of a career lands a lot harder when you realize that AJ hit the wall HARD just a few years after this remote aired. He was labelled the problem boy of the Backstreet Boys for a while because of that.
