That Conan O'Brien mask is genuinely creepy. He should have done a show wearing it. Also, the mask before it got painted at 7:22 is probably what Conan looks like before they put on his makeup.
Gosh I remember as a kid going out on Halloween in my grandparent's neighborhood, it was insanity. Everyone brought their kids to trick or treat there. But on this Halloween, right after 9/11, NO ONE was out. We saw one other family way off in the distance and that's it. I don't think people even opened their doors to give us candy.
Ben is probably 30-31 exactly now. Considering I was in 1st grade in 2001 (born 1994) I was 5-6. He looks 12-13, + 18 would make him either 30 or 31. Goes to show Conan has aged really well in 20 years
I remember the month after 9/11 being the hardest and comedians like Conan really helped to deal and ease what all New Yorkers were feeling... So thank you Conan !
That really is creepy, but that’s just the background playing tricks against the holes of the masks eyes. He holds it against different parts of the background that get more skin toned and darker again (the shelf behind it maybe?) making the illusion of blinking
