Hi and welcome to the PC Master Race. This is my first ever recording of a PC game and my victim is the Conan Exiles Map Mod - Savage Wilds. There's loads to explore so look forwards to more. If you want to find out more about the lore of Conan Exiles, check out these videos: The Lore of Conan Exiles: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OvE3IrQwlP4.html The Lore of the Isle of Siptah: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Eu0PO76ZeH4.html Gaudia Certaminis is a gaming channel devoted to RPGs and Survival games. As well as the content on RU-vid you can find more reviews, tips and tricks at www.gaudiacertaminis.com
The Journey Step needs to be actively selected for it to register each step, which (except a few exceptions) need to be done in the exact order listed for them to trigger.
Ah, the Savage Wilds! Been wondering when one of the newer generation of Conan Exiles 'tubers were going to take it on. I'm still in the SW on my present playthrough, though on my way into the endgame. It does have one and the 'savage' descriptor is quite apt for this map. Large as the map looks, there's much more to it than you can see presently. Many off-map areas and some are quite large--and nasty. It pays to hang out on the coast for awhile and get established. SW has a fast travel system so One Big Base is sufficient. Lastly, mild as the starting area is, the SW isn't fooling around with environmental hazards. The north is seriously cold and you can die of exposure very quickly if unprepared. There is a LOT to see on this map. Exploration is important.
You inspired me to try this today, since I'm in the end game in Palworld, I will slow down till the full release. That first thrall is a shield wight for me, the things you see when you can't knock em over the head yet. It's nice to have everything as an unknown again, I went the opposite direction I was told to go for now, found iron already.
I'm recording on OBS and editing with DaVinci on my new PC. First time for both. I think I must have accidentally deleted a clip and not noticed. If I'd done that on iMovie the timeline would have stuck itself together. Quite a learning curve.
I'm not at all familiar with the, Savage Wilds mod so I will be watching this play through and following your progress with great interest. Keep em coming. 👍👍
Oh yes - you do need to keep your eyes open on this map or you'll pass by many interesting places to explore. Re the fish - not only can you get a fishing spear but you can also find a fishing record sheet which keeps track of the weight of the biggest of each class of fish you have caught. (If you are on a multiplayer server, the biggest fish that anyone has caught and the name of the person who caught it) Final point this time - once you toughen up a bit, go back to The Maw and climb the waterfall - that gets you into one of the medium sized 'hidden lands'....
first.. welcome to savage wilds!! you are not at the spot of your body.. that's why you didn't saw it.. it should be a bit further behind the ship wreck.. you can't craft any obsidian weapons on your inventory cause you need a blacksmith bench to do so.. and also you need to bring the obsidian and steel bars to the volcanic forge to get the obsidian bars before you can craft any obsidian weapons on your blacksmith bench..
You need to be carefull with this map, some areas are quite safe like the small desert where you start, but if you go to the north you will encounter some though ennemies. This map is more difficult than the original one and some places are really hard. Close to where that hyena killed you there is a city that you can explore like Sepermeru, it's Murun, it's safe and you will find there a lot of nice stuff especially in all the small houses you can explore. That's the place to go when you start this map. I would advise you to stay in the center south around Murun untill you level up and get all the good stuff. In this map you will find all the mobs of the original map plus the ones from Siptah. But once again be carefull if you go far west or north, it may get problematic and you should level up before.
