I have some tips for guitar beginners: -You will not start off smoothly, take your time and always be patient. Eventually you will start getting better. -Yes if you're starting to play the guitar your fingers will hurt, because you have to press really hard on the strings. -Start with the simple chords, don't go all out with the hard chords thinking its easy. -I don't know how tk explain this, but, Do not wash your hands after playing the guitar, wait about 5 minutes before washing. -If you can't get to a certain string, just play around with your hands and make some tricks on how to reach it. -Try finding shortcuts when shifting. -When you master guitar or get good at it, you will most likely not struggle with ukulele. -And yes having meltdowns are normal, I'm having one right now trying to learn this song. -Also when your fingers are starting to really hurt and starts bruising, please take a break. That's pretty much all, remember to do your bestand be patient!

Once you get the chords down, this is also a really good song to learn how to sing while playing at the same time. If this is too hard for you, I recommend trying Star Shopping by Lil peep. It's more singy-talky rather than full on singing, and the guitar part really easy (no chords just plucking the same 4 strings) so it's a good way to get your mind used to doing two things at once. Then once you get that come back to this song and it shouldn't be too difficult.
I did exactly that I feel so satisfied with my self oml it's all playing out like butter, all I have to get down is switching in-between the chords a bit faster.
I am 13 rn and I learnt guitar at 11, I actually started with alot of exercises which made my fingers stretch alott! They actually helped me with almost all songs, try with some plu king exercises :) Maybe u could put your fingers on 1 3 5 fret of the first string and play one by one, and one day u might be comfortable with it and learn chords easier, if my exercise doesn't help u can always use yt:))

My older brother gave me his guitar a few days ago and I figured out I actually really love guitar but I didn’t know ANYTHING on how to play especially during this quarintine so I gave up and like 4 days past and I found this and I’m trying to play it hopefully in the future I can improve on guitar ❤️

Black & white Swirl I have really short fingers, so what I do is use my middle finger to get those three strings and my thumb to get the last one. I have no knowledge on guitar, so this is probably not the right thing to do, but it’s literally the only way I can do that chord.
I was confused to but if you need help here ya go. A capo is the clip thingy that he has. The little silver thing The charts are where you put your fingers based on when the capo/top of the guitar is. Capo 5 means that he puts the capo on the 5th fret The chords go C EM AM FMJ7 and FM the last one is a bar chord which means you have to use one finger and hold it over all three chords If you need anything else feel free to ask meಡ ͜ ʖ ಡ

I learnt it , but ahhrghh that Fmaj7! So I made a trick I played first second and third string with my index finger and pressed my second finger on it and it exactly sounded the same.
