@@jamesrawlins735 Yeah dogg and when he was campaigning for 96 hours straight and fell asleep randomly while talking to Conan. Waking up suddenly saying "---Dole??" hahaha
Kinda like the massive mega blockbuster of a legendary budget making of then-defunct Carol Co. movie motion production company who funded Terminator 2 : Judgement Day.
I lOVE Robert Smigel's fake German b/c as he makes it up he is inadvertently using actual German/Yiddish words to create Arnold's nonsense. At 5:54 he says, "Ach schlein mein flacken die schicken die flazen die zeitzen!"... "oh hell my flames, the flickers have been sent, oh these times (we are in)!". LOL!
“Lincoln was human garbage!” “Our Thanksgiving was called sprekensfritzel, we would release a baboon into the Forrest and bash our heads on the table!”
I watch this every day, and sometimes several times a day. So many funny details one can appreciate, especially if one watched his speech at the 2004 RNC.
@@Jerry-o3p They did do a funny bit for Terminator 3 but it was in a "Conan and Andy On the Aisle" fake movie review segment. They showed a segment from the scene where Arnold/CSM-101 was saying that Judgment Day was only postponed, not averted and then they added in Conan O' Brien writer Brian McCann dressed as Jesus asking viewers if they were ready for Judgment Day, "Let's get it on, folks!"
Thanks for uploading these. When I was 13 I recorded these on a micro cassette recorder when they 1st aired. Used to listen to it all the time. I remember never being able to find it on RU-vid until now. Hilarious 😆
29:06 They refer to the San Simeon Earthquake on Dec.22nd 2003 It did a lot of damage. I remember being in Paso Robles CA, where Gov. Schwarzenegger gave a speech in the ruined town square. I remember him saying "WE WILL REBUILD THIS TOWN SQUARE!" And everyone cheered. This is a part of my list of famous Arnold one liners as much as "PUT THAT COOKIE DOWN" and "HASTA LA VISTA BABY". As the years go by, I still remember him saying this, but a more caricatured version has begun to take over in my mind. Now I simply hear Conan's Arnold Schwarzenegger saying "WE WILL REBUILD THIS TOWN SQUARE YAAAH"
Thank U to Smigel amdn O'brien - and all staff and crew - this era was gold and I couldn't get enough. So great to revisit this amazing stuff again. Thanks for compiling and posting. We were so lucky to have this material when nothing else could come close to the funny and cutting-edge factor.
I remember as a kid during sleevovers recounting Arnold movies that one of us had seen but the others hadn’t. This was before Conan started doing it, but we essentially created the same exact bit. We stayed up all night basically doing this same thing. We called it “Stupid Arnold” and he was almost exactly the same as Robert Smigel’s version. He would fumble his lines and his catchphrase was, “No, YOU are all a bunch of stupids!” We laughed until it hurt. 😂 Great memories
This reminds me of my friends in high school and I always making our laughs real big with high kicks and running to the other side of a room and ridiculous shit like that. Fast forward a few years and we discover Molly Shannon on SNL acting exactly how we did in high school. We always said she would've been part of our friend group had she gone to school with us. I love reading about other people who had just as much fun making up funny stuff and acting like morons 🤣 We need more people like us in the world.
fun fact that no one will believe: Arnold was once a family friend, until the whole nanny/affair scandal happened and my aunt cut him off after telling him that she was 'very disappointed' in him but 'wished him well'. He was mostly just like this at every dinner, and would always quote his films if you asked. I kind of miss him honestly.
I discovered Conan O'Brien myself from flipping through channels late at night, circa 2005. I thought it was my own show that basically only I knew about. Turns out it was one of the most popular shows that everyone knew about, but I thought that only I knew about it for a long time. I used to watch it every single night and laughed my butt off every single time. These are some of my favorite memories.
Currently have 3 different streaming services and all of you tube, what finally holds my attention today AND ACTUALLY makes me laugh...this lol. Was great then and even better now.
Sinbad used to be in some pretty good Christmas movies, "Houseguest" with the wonderful Phil Hartman (RIP Phil 🙏🏽🥺) and of course "Jingle All De Way!" 🔔🎄☃️🎅 🎁
The Running Man! Conan the Barbarian? 😅😅😅. Jingle Bells All The Way? The Gettysburg 👗? No Girly Men in California state government? Since Jesse Ventura as governor of Minnesota... Jeez. Kindergarten Cop? Clutch Cargo cartoons? Never heard of those. Never heard of them. Never knew it had existed. Gotta go back in time, and look them up. Just like in the Terminator movies.
The twist would be that the surviving founders only decide to add the bit in the constitution about natural-born citizen presidents because of their fear from the time traveling Austrian who rampaged against them
