Conan at the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor honoring Will Ferrell. I know it stops weird - that's how they cut it. Conan introduced another bit too. Too dirty for PBS I guess.
Definitely within the next five years. Next year seems likely since his TBS show ended. The Kennedy Center tends to honor hosts as their shows end (Letterman, Stewart).
Well...that Conan appearance went exactly as expected. Will in a speedo, talking about visiting schools then swearing at a child and having to be restrained at the end of it.
Conan seems to be kind of a black sheep when it comes to awards and recognition from the establishment. Probably because he sticks to his guns and does whatever the fuck he wants.
I had did too in the early and mid 90s. Friday was a no school night excuse and had my own TV in the late 90s and watched every night. I think Conan had the best late night show. Between Pimp Bot, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and the regular Norm McDonald dropping by it was gold.
I liked Will on Celebrity Jeopardy. Also, a couple of his movies. But a Mark Twain winner, especially before Conan? No. And I don't like Conan all that much except when he goes on other shows. He also got screwed by NBC and Leno.
My “scummy” radar is going wild. I previously held so much respect for Conan, but frankly, yuck. I wish I could spit as far as would be necessary to plant it near his feet.
Three separate comments to showcase how much you don’t like the guy and in none of them you were able to get his name right. It’s literally in the title. And that dude’s Jay Leno joke whooshed right over your head.
