In this one instance, I wish Conan would cut the chatter and just LISTEN to this brilliant, intelligent, interesting man. I love Michael Palin and he has so many great stories.
I’ve spent the last two months binging all of Palin’s travel series, and wishing-as Conan O’Brien Must Go is about to premiere here in 2024-that they would team up for one small trip. So this is great to see the master talking with the student before Conan had done even a single trip. It’s like a passing of a baton.
@MG Stevens Half of his 100 million dollar fortune came from NBC paying him off for firing him on the Tonight Show. They were desperate to get rid of him. He's still a poor interviewer. He tries to upstage the guests and won't let them finish speaking. He needs to listen and shut up.
