The hidden trauma behind every car chase, miles of slow traffic. There are people in that herd who were getting sick of driving and a onions skin away from road rage already, then to slow things down 50% for a few miles for no apparent reason..... But I bet that scene sobers them up and makes them put things in context and think of the bigger picture.
Yes it was. That guy was going well over 100mph when he passed me. It was a high speed chase. Probably a pit maneuver that took him out, sure, but speeding for sure.
Generally speaking, it is a lack of driving skills that causes accidents, not speed, and speeding is an artificial term used by law enforcement to glean money from people.
I was going 70 and thus guy went past me like I was stopped. Tell me that's not speeding. Plus, he had 9 or 10 police cars chasing him. They don't do that for 5 over.
Yep, and in the early seventies the speed limit was fifty so you would have been going twenty over which would have been considered speeding, my point being is it's a relative term, that said I was on an interstate one Sunday flowing with traffic at one hundred twenty miles per hour thru four states until we got to a police state and slowed to fifty, during the whole time I passed no one and no one passed me nor did anyone give us a second look. That said going way faster than traffic is dangerous, so no I don't approve of fools that do that and endanger other drivers as one never knows what another driver will do. If one is a skilled driver they can handle their own car, other drivers are an unknown so use caution in traffic. @@rodneyking4183
