In 1980 we moved west and I worked on a farm up at Burakin, the people had a 354 which I drove for ripping up. The mrs used to come out and bring me lunch and ride beside me on the wide seat, great days before kids. Loved the gearbox on the mixer. The neighbours @ Burakin had a Malcom Moore # 4 Grader with a Perkins P6. They always parked it on a hill in the field to so it would run down and bump start. Someone had fitted a holden three speed gearbox to the top of the grader with the steering wheel fixed to the input shaft. As a prank we'd sometimes put it into reverse so it would steer opposite. A magic life in the "bush" . Love your life and videos, if only I was 20years younger

When I was working in W TX our deliver driver saw a patch of gourds that look like water melons so he picked several of the bigger ones and left them on the back of the flat bad truck, knowing there was one guy in the other shop who wouldn't ask he would just grab as many as he could and run off with them. I would have loved to see the look on his face when he got home and opened the first one, because oh man did they stink!

Love the old school knowledge on the old Chamberlain! I worked at the John Deere factory in Welshpool in the late 1980's and sold more bits for the old girls than I can recall. the 6354 Perkins was such an unkillable motor, fast forward about 20 years and I ended up operating a MK IV railway shunter with an auto gearbox, which was great fun! Nice to see the old 12G running in previous episode as well.😊👍👍

Growing up on the family farm, we had a chamberlain C670. It had louver windows and the fuel tank at the back like Tim said. It has many similarities to this tractor. In later years it was fitted with indicators and a rear light. Pure luxury!

Jack I live south of Mandurah and there’s a guy that lives next door to me he did his apprenticeship with Chamberlains worked there until they shut the doors he’s a very good tool maker/fitter. Ya he built a tractor in my back yard with some of the gear he had

Jack I worked on a wheat belt farm near lake grace for a David Webster in 1982 and got stuck on a chamberlain countryman boy was I glad to get back to Scotland

Sating "safety-third" seems to be traditional way for youtube farmers to acknowledge risks to the camera. So the monocoque techniques in which the engine & gearbox are themselves load bearing rather than having the chassis continue, it may add efficiency, but may negatively impact robustness and maintainability of a tractor.

We call them totes
