You are the only real concrete contractor out there. You actually have equipment, and can handle any type of job. The rest of these fools on here are just glorified laborers. They have stand up tonka toys, just do chute pours, just have video's of how to finish concrete, and don't do custom work like you. It's nice to see a real contractor and business owner on here.
The key is having great employes who respect you and you respect them. loyalty , doing the job in a consistent fashion day after day, every day. You count on them and they give back in performance. I really enjoy your videos. I could say a great deal more, but anyone who sees your videos understands.
Thanks Anthony. I loved your comment about being too fat to broom in the correct direction. I am looking forward to the upcoming massive staircase project.
Killer work my friend u guys do !!!! Awesome bobcat work as well !!!! Really enjoy seeing that awesome concrete work done by ur master concrete finishers !!!! 👍🏼 Best In The West Bro !!!!! 👊🏼👍🏼👊🏼👍🏼👊🏼
@@WestCoastCustomConcrete THAT WOULD SEEM TOTALLY UNFAIR IF a concrete company paid those workers only 5 dollars or NO PAY AT ALL!!! I WOULD HATE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yo Bro. interesting job. If it was my site you better put something between that plastic fence and the concrete. I looked but did ya dowel it in to the existing concrete? Thanks for the video and great to see people still do all the aspects of the job!
Good call bro 👍 I put expansion foam in between the fence and the concrete. Also I pulled the screws on the bottom of the fence so you could change a panel if you had to
So when you say finishers in California make 300 a day do those rates still apply when there doing form work or only when there finishing. And is 300 a flat rate meaning they still gett 300 no matter how many hours they work that day?
I appreciate the craftsmanship and your voiceovers discussing the business. It seems like the most critical part of your operation is finding good workers. How do you do this? How did you find your current crew? How do you make sure they don't move on?
Good question. In orange county there is different net works of finishers. You just have to have a relationship with one of them and he will bring you how ever many guys you need. Plus I pumped concrete for 20 years so I personally no loads of workers 👍
@@WestCoastCustomConcrete Keep up the great work and the great videos. There are so many hacks across all of the trades, it is refreshing to watch a true professional in action.
Family member just buit a house last year a friend built it for him, the concrete is cracking up in the basement sulphur gas oozing up? i mentioned maybe high water table (spring) poor concrete job no vapor barrier in northern NY any suggestions?
Hey man, Ive been watching all your videos and I appreciate all the info you give out! Im in the process of doing my research on residential concrete work. Im looking to get into the business but im trying to figure out which part. I have capital to purchase equipment and would love to have my equipment make me money, kinda like you mentioned, instead of being a finisher you would much rather spend time demoing or pouring. So if you were to start off all over again which one would you recommend? How much money would I need to get into pumping concrete and how much would I need if I were to focus on demoing and moving dirt. Thanks in advance!
Hey Antonio 👊 what's up bro? You can give me a call there is a lot of info 💯there is no way I could advise you with a couple paragraphs.gotta steer you the right way 👍
You probably don't know any better, but when you skate it you wipe it off with a rag. Concrete doesn't stick to vinyl. C'mon dumbass you can do better than that😂
What's happening Anthony keep it up mate you are the main man hey what has happened to the hot media girl you had she needs to be shown more it's good one the eyes hahaha
Nooooo...... not pea gravel for vehicular traffic 😒 Rock pumps only a few hundred more. If your cutting deep joints on 9ft. Centers you'll have a crack free slab for 40 years. I have a hard time keeping finishers cause we pour big rock 90% of the time. The new bread of finishers here in Cali want easy not whats right. Fortunately I only have a few more years left. You got a good crew.👍
It doesn't seem to be to significant. The concrete will have maybe 20 or 30 year shelf life regardless. Ive been demoing concrete for 20 years and I have rarely seen the rebar coroded. Flat work no need👍
@@WestCoastCustomConcrete dear God!!! That's hilarious 😂 how about these clowns trying to give the illusion they are sponsored by milwaukee or marshall town. Man they are dillusinal.
YOU DO JOBS AND FANCY JOBS THAT NO OTHER THAT I KNOW ON RU-vid COULD POSSIBLY DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not one could do a concrete job like the diamond one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BUT MAN DO SPRINKLES FLOOD THE GRASS AND THE PLANTS< IT PROLBY KILLED THE PLANTS OR GRASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOPE TO GO TO HORSE STABLES SOON, I REALLY WANT To GO WITH YOU SATURDAY OR FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I REALLY WANT TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thers one thing/fact in this video that proves that other concrete people could not do jobs like you: people brooming concrete driveway the wrong way or other new concrete stuff!
Re-bar on the ground... WRONG.... needs to be at least 2" off the ground or it will rust away in no time. No expansion gaps....WRONG... with a pour like that should have an expansion gap every 10 feet, this will just crack up with the natural ground movement and settlement of the slab. If you are going to post videos of how to do things at least make sure you have the basics correct.
