This episode proves that Lila can be manipulative without everyone having to be dumbed down. I really wish the writers would have her appearences be more like this episode rather than her telling obvious lies and everyone but Adrien and Mari just accepting it as truth without a second thought.
@@kurijo4318Definitely not, there's a lot of moral reasons as to why that shouldn't happen, especially in VA's case. I'd recommend doing some research on the subject. If anything, they should just get a different VA to voice the singing sections
It's really unbearable to see Marinette suffer just to get her feelings across to Adrien. Also I live for Ms Tsurugi threatening Gabriel. He should be threatened with physical violence more often.
I love Adrien's song so much. I do agree that it's a little off in some places but I personally think it makes it sound even more genuine and sweet, and being sung by a shy 15 year old boy confessing his feelings for a girl in front of all his friends. It's so raw, which makes it sound realistic in a way. Also, I've been waiting for your reaction since last week, was getting a little impatient there ngl but I hope you are doing better now Zamber
What I noticed is that, when Kagami was Akumatized, she was trying to find a tranquil area to disappear in..so you weren't too far off for "my 13th reason"
@@IAmZamber You are NOT ready to see what Lila is up to this season. It starts out slow with how she tries to ruin Marinette’s life but it gets way crazier
When a character like Lila gets too much quiet, that's when we know they are up to something. That's the type of villain Lila is, she is patient and knows when to act and how to make people do what she wants. That's why she is the best villain in the series. I think that the only one that can top her in wits is Félix, as Marinette can only match her.
Kagami deserves all the love because she’s always been the best character since S2. I hope at the end of the season she really sees that Lila was using her the whole time.
Kagami is definitely top 5! She needed more friends than just Marinette and Adrien. And the cloud form did seem peaceful at first just relaxing in the Seine. The end scene may have some people concerned.
It was incredibly sweet, the way Adrian❤ saw Kagami upset and instantly ran to calm her down, it shows that they have a very healthy friendly relationship🥹
Notice something interesting Kagami's mum said when she was mad at Gabriel. She said "you sent a megakuma into my daughter's ring. You endangered her." She wasn't mad he sent the akuma into he daughter, she was mad he sent the akuma into her daughter's RING, because THAT somehow endangers her. More accurately, the act of putting the akuma into the ring isn't the dangerous part, the dangerous part is the usual method that Ladybug uses to get an akuma OUT of an object, if she'd done that with the ring, it would have somehow affectd Kagami, which is why putting an akuma in the ring endangers her. Just keep that in mind for later.
Important thing to keep in mind is that Tsurugi was angry at Gabe for specificly sending Akuma into Kagamis Ring. Not really because she's got akumatised, but because the object was her ring.
a lot of people have theorized that Kagami is a sentimonster. this would explain why Mrs Tsurugi was especially furious about Gabriel specifically putting the akuma into Kagami’s ring, since people think that her amok is in her ring. therefore, if her ring was destroyed to release the akuma, she would. uh. die lol
Well the ending of this episode certainly confirms that Tomoe knows about Gabriel being Monarch. What a way for us to be at the halfway point of season 5 (although right now we already got 12 episodes left to actually see)
@@dessindenfer1253 No, if you're talking about Riposte, she was wearing her fencing ring. Kagami has two different rings, she wears the black one when she is fencing and the silver one normally
I was really glad to see (and hear) Bryce Papenbrook improve his singing voice since the Christmas Special, it was a pleasant surprise. Adrien's little song is really charming and cute
Zamber, season 5 has 27 episodes, but the 27th episode called "Action" is actually a filler and serves as a special episode to spread plastic awareness.
Don't you think it is a little bit SUS that Kagami's mother went so angry about Gabriel putting the akuma on her daugher's RING? She literally went for Gabriel's cataclysmed arm! (I mean Kagami had been akumatized before, Tomoe was not there but I'm sure she knew that her daughter had neen akumatized and she didn't go nuts about it.) What would have happened if Lb and CN had managed to break the ring with the akuma? Tomoe said "disappear" and there are some things that the "Miraculous Lapdybug" can't undo... Oh... if we only knew about some objects that cannot be broken or a person could literally disappear... oh wait we do! And they are "casually" rings too. I'll leave it hanging there. Oh and about what you wonder, Chloe's mum also said "you owe me everything" to Gabriel back in season 2 the episode she was akumatized. Besides, when the Temple of the Guardians came back, both Tomoe and Audrey are shown watching those news on tv, that's why it is almost certain that she is also working with Gabriel and Tomoe.
Oops. Forgot it was Tuesday. Nice to see you back! Adrien singing was awesome, but seriously, I really felt for Kagami in this episode! If I ever get akumatized, it'll probably be for the same reasons as her.
Aw, you didn't include the Kagami depression monologue scenes. I'm getting more tempted to spend money on a Patreon. If you noticed at her last monologue at the school, she started to dissipate. She wanted to end her lonely suffering by achieving "perfect" tranquility and fade away. That is some dark, subtle implications. 😭
If you look at the pictures Lila has, you'll notice that Lila is now targeting certain people in Marinette's life, aside from Kagami, there is also Luka, Marinette's parents, and Zoe. The sad thing is Kagami has lived her whole life believing she needed to strive to be perfect for others, so when she thought Marinette didnt consider her a friend, she didnt blame Marinette, she blamed herself for not knowing how to be perfect enough. Kagami has had a long time struggle of trying to be perfect, this is how her mother and her ancestors were raised to live as, but the pressure is enormous and because of this, Kagami never knows if she is good enough for others, however, Kagami is beginning to realize that her families views and way of life is making her miserable. Similarly, Marinette has felt a constant pressure to prove she is good enough for Adrien, who is the rich and famous model loved by everyone around him, but no matter what she does and no matter how much she tries to prove to herself she is perfect for Adrien, she still doesn't feel good enough, and even though she knows she can confess without worry of rejection, now that she knows Adrien loves her, she cant, something is holding her back.
I rlly gotta catch up with this show soon, I've seen a lot of season 5 but since their release schedule is so messy I don't know anymore which episodes I have or haven't seen so i'll propably need to watch all of them
12:44 interesting phrasing she doesn’t say you Akumatized my daughter she’s more upset that it was the ring that the Akuma was placed. Now isn’t it interesting how in this episode they didn’t go the normal route of breaking the object that the akuma is in. Makes you wonder huh like there’s more to the ring that meets the eye 😉
1. Along with referring to concept of the Dragon Miraculous, "Perfection" also refers to Kagami's and Marinette's beliefs that they need to be PERFECT in order to be a good friend. 2. Solving Marinette's inability to confess to Adrien is not very simple. She's got trauma which you'll learn more about in future episodes and no one recovers from trauma so easily. In order to solve it, Marinette needs to figure out the root of her problem and work her way to slowly recovering.
Looking at this back, I forgot about the Ms. Tsurugi scene at the end, she was right, Gabriel indeed endangered Kagami and crossed a huge boundary, if ladybug would've broken the ring the amok and akuma would've been released, ending Kagami's life 😮
Lila cutting Marinette's face out if all those pictures was super creepy. She will stop at nothing to make sure Marinette is all alone with no one by her side and miserable. I cannot stress how much I despise her! Zamber, did you notice her room too? Last time we saw her bedroom, she was in this tiny apartment bedroom. The room Lila was in during this episode was bigger, nicer, and overlooking the city, like a penthouse. Just keep this in mind.
Btw episode 27 is a special episode like The Christmas specials Santa Claws and Chrismaster except when those were Christmas special. I won’t spoiler what it’s about but it’s not about Christmas we can assume that it won’t really connect like the other 2
Funny how the Moo joke is more fitting in spanish and portuguese ("Yo te a-muuu", "Eu te a-muuu") Btw the season is tecnically 26 episodes long, that extra episode is like a side-story or something like that, not connected to the storyline at all, not even sure it is canon.
Kagami is a better friend for Marinette than Alya and Nino. First, she won't forced her to talked to Adrien; second, she won't do something embarassing to her father if Alya though he was a villain. Kagami respected her, gives her good advices and cares for her. This girl is a good person 🙂
Kagami is a great friend because she doesn't take her friends for granted. Because she spent her entire life without any friends (all because of her mother who is even stricter than Gabriel), after she befriended Marinette, she started to do everything she could to make herself worthy of that friendship. It's so sad that there are people like Lila that are willing to take advantage of that insecurity for their own personal vendetta.
@@rafaelmatos5851But Marinette isn't a good friend to Kagami. She rejoiced over Kagami getting akumatized and made Kagami's problems about herself with Adrien.
@@DFeligamiAdrizoeSworaDennisFan I think Marinette didn't realize it was Kagami until she got a closer look. Besides, she was having one of her freak-outs.
This episode is a great Kagami episode. Great Adrien and Kagami friendship episode. But man. Marinette was such an intensive bitch in this episode! Seriously! Kagami was explaining to Marinette towards the end that she doesn't know how to be normal around other people. And what does Marinette do? Make it about her and how she feels about Adrien! It's not about you Marinette! Also her being happy Kagami got akumatized?! Marinette. When the season 5 finale arrives. Your done. No joke. Finita! Also Marigami is very toxic. Luckily Kagami will be getting someone better in due time! ^^ Also Lila is right about how horrible Marinette is. Thats right. Lila is telling the truth now. Alao Tikki being so done with Marinette is a mood! Also Tomoe is an awful mother. Also lukadrien moment in this episode is cute. ^^ Also Adrien's song is great. Also Adrien trying to help Kagami. He's a good friend. Unlike Marinette. Also Alya. You stay the fuck away from Kagami. I'm still mad with you for talking bad about Kagami in season 3 and 4! So back off! Also Kagami. I wouldn't be friends with Nino either. Rose is a good choice though. Same with Juleka and Luka and Ivan and Mylene and Zoe and Nathanial and Marc. And Max and Kim.
If you want to know about Mrs. Tsurugi gets from all this, then you need to be attentive to what she says when she gets in Gabriel's atelier... more like the words she used, because that's part of her dream that Gabriel put at risk in that episode. If you don't get it, that's all right, because the more revelant clues are still to come.
So I was watching the series over again until season 6 comes out on Disney Plus and I thought of something. You know how everybody is saying that they think that Adrian is a senti monster? I was thinking about it and what if kagami is one as well? I mean she's always doing what her mother tell her to do and it's kind of in the same situation as Adrian and they both have rings 🤔🤔 I mean I can be completely wrong, it's just something that ran through my head
@@DFeligamiAdrizoeSworaDennisFan I also have some issues with Gloob's dub. But the song is really good! I can only hope that Portugal's version is also good.
@@DFeligamiAdrizoeSworaDennisFan A toxic relationship is defined as "[...] when one person is being emotionally harmed or used by another, making the relationship more of a burden than support" by Suzanne Degges-White, author of Toxic Friendships. If you are convinced that Mari and Kagami's relationship is toxic, please do give me an example from any episode since they became friends in "Ikari Gozen" where Mari took advantage of Kagami or hurt her emotionally without feeling bad about it and apologizing later. I personally can't remember a time but my memory isn't great so I'm curious to see what proof you have to offer.
@@DFeligamiAdrizoeSworaDennisFan They didn't become friends until Ikari Gozen (S3E17) where Mari finally realized there was more to Kagami. Before that, like in Frozer (S2E21) and Animaestro (S3E4), she saw Kagami as a rival. Not great momemts for Mari, no doubt, but hardly prove that their friendship is toxic when they weren't even friends at that point. As I said, you got any examples after Ikari Gozen? You know: After they actually became friends?
