I love how we can all find beauty if different things. I immediately got scared when I saw her eyes very ghostly to me. I have to look away. I get more of a creepy feel than anything.

He absolutely does bc she didn’t feel self conscious at all, he knew how it would fit and flatter her. She could feel so confident and fall in love with the dress. He knew she worker so hard to loose weight and he’s a master at making sure the bride feels comfortable immediately with no chance of her doubting herself ❤️!!!!

I was horrified by how he *grabbed her neck to kiss her*! I’d be straight out the door!

Have you never been to England, or watched British television? Because then you would know that "grabbing someone" (which he really didn't, all he did was put his hands on her neck) so that he could lean in (as she did as well) to kiss her on both her cheeks. It is similar to what some people do in France, except there (if I'm not mistaken) they do it four times.. two kisses on each cheek. So in reality, what you just witnessed is a usual occurrence in that area. If you're going to write such a comment, you should probably do reasearch first :)

I'm not particularly against tats in general on women, but when they are ALL OVER her arms, I think that ruins her looks. Just me....my daughter even has tats and I think they are fine, but when you only see the tats and not the person, that's going too far.

1. In other versions they just snatch the dress back with clips...Gok pins the sample to actually fit like an altered dress... 2. He fixes their hair before they go out and other versions hide the undone hair with a veil. Same concept, different method.

Body Dysmorphia is extremely interesting to read up about. You'd think your perception would be altered so you don't like yourself (or think you still have the same body type if you've lost noticeable weight) but it isn't always "I'm seeing what really isn't there and I hate it". I have no idea what my face looks like. I know what I see in the mirror and that's "me", but I know what you see when we talk face to face isn't the same face I see the mirror looking back at me. It's not that "your" version of me I believe is any less or more attractive, just different. That's why I hate pictures of myself, imagine someone taking a picture of you and when you look at it your face is just... not you... it's like when sisters look really alike... it's almost me, she has my eyebrow shape and blonde hair etc, but that's not my face on that person.

That's body dysmorphia??? I just thought I was crazy for not knowing what I look like! It's weird because I really can recognise myself in a mirror and at the same time have no idea what I look like to others. It feels a bit like I, as a person, am inside a vessel and can see the world through the eyes, but can't see what the outside of the vessel looks like. Just like you couldn't see what the outside of your house looks like if you were looking out through a window from the inside. It's weird and I have never seen someone talk or write about it before

The human body/psychology and how we function is so complex, it often isn't until people talk about the "weird" little things that we realize those things are symptoms of something we have in common. More communication is more information! It wasn't until a doctor told me my constant car sickness is actually a condition called dysautonomia that I realized we need to talk about the "weird little things" because they're an important part of a massive picture we may only see a few pixels of.

It definitely is one of the nicest dresses I've ever seen. Her hair colour and skin tone looks so beautiful against the tone of the dress.

And I thought it complimented her tattoos.. the dress is so delicate it didn’t go against them.. she looks edgy and princessy at the same time.. absolutely stunning!

This show knows that their actual asset is Gok and that they don't need drama to get TV/online views...

The line about "we knew you'd be confident enough to bring us to tears" was what really did it for me. They knew it wasn't about if they personally found her beautiful in the dress, it was about how _she'd_ feel in it, and that'd be the magical moment.

It makes you feel like that thing Ollivander says in the first Harry Potter: “the wand chooses the wizard” I also like hearing how it’s not just oh this is a beautiful dress but he talks about the details that make him appreciate the designers work... I get the impression he has some background with sewing that makes him really have a respect for the craftsmanship in dress making

He asked her for her budget before she tried anything on, so that's not over budget. She had the opportunityto say 2000 is it.

It seems that she won't have to make alterations to the dress, so with the dress being just under 2500£, her ceiling budget is kinda respected I guess 🤔

He is such a fairy godfather, he understood her weight loss journey and wanted to wow her. You could see the detail in the train and skirt was absolutely worth the price difference.

I love the way Gok sees the positive in people: you could be a thick girl or a waif and he will say “helloooo you gorgeous thing you, have we got a dress for you” 😍 His attitude is so needed in the world... and it would be a privilege to get styled by him. I hope when and if I get married 🤞🏻 that I’ll get a consultant with that gives even a fraction of the individualized attention Gok gives

He a master at what he does!!! He didn’t take any chances of letting the bride doubt herself. He knew exactly what silhouette would flatter her without question. She was really nervous about trying on dresses but not even a thought of it entered her mind bc of Gok’s dedication to her and what she needed to feel like confident bride she wanted to be.

I honestly don't mind her dresses being so expensive. If you can afford to spend that much and are willing to spend that much on a dress for day you probably deserve it XD (especially since I've seen people say they're only paying a certain amount for the dress ie if a dress isn't expensive they won't get it)

Yeah, I want to try as many dresses in my price range as I can before upping my budget. If I never see the AMAZING higher prices dress, I can be thrilled with one within my original budget ( which was my original budget for a reason). I'm not telling them there is a stretch until I can't find anything.
