Boogie knew what he was doing, it’s the same thing he’s always done. He makes selfish decisions that backfire on him, then he pleads for forgiveness and asks for financial help.
Basically “I knew I was getting paid regardless, I jokingly told people not to buy the coin to cover my butt and now that people bought it I’m gonna play the victim and pretend I knew nothing. Oh did I mention I’m going to take the money bc I have adult responsibilities? And I’m so poor”
Boogie used to be known as the nicest person on the internet. He literally won an award for that at some point. Then much later he changed, whether this was because he was always like that idk. It sound like you don't know the guy, don't feel sorry for him if you do find out more about him. He is a professional victim who never is to blame for anything.
Boogie2988 scamming his last remaining fans and then reporting himself to Coffeezilla, so that he could make excuses for himself such as "I have bad health and no money" while also self degrading himself. This is the most Boogie thing ever.

@@SeethinStevenBoogie is the first person I’ve ever heard talk about having cancer and rolling my eyes about it. Cancer sucks but cancer is one of the hundreds of things Boogie uses as a crutch for his scumbag behavior
I'm expecting him to start an onlyfans, but that's too dignified for him. Sometimes I think I'm not successful in life, but then I see sad shameless bottom feeders like boogie, and suddenly I feel better about myself.
And even if it was a cancer, it is a cancer that people die *with* not a cancer that people from. Also, they have average quality of life while having it, so acting like it’s terminal and he’s only suffering is so manipulative
Also ignoring a bunch of people who get cancer who do get better. Treating all cancer the same and treating everyone with cancer like it's stage 4 terminal is really harmful and distressing for people who get cancer. Some cancers are less aggressive, if you catch it earlier and it's easier to cure. Not belitting the seriousness of it, but the messaging is really harmful.
Believing him is one thing. Trusting him to the point that you’re willing to stake your finances on his word is just confusing. All 3M can’t be from suckers who bought into what he said though, most of that has to be from the “pump” phase the company themselves did.
This is nothing new. He makes a mistake, begs the audience to get him out of his mistake and then denies he was ever in the wrong OR he makes some generic excuse as to why it isn't his fault.
The way Boogie complains that Coffee only gave him advice when it was too late, but he's the one who waited until then before asking him. He's acting like it's somehow Coffee's responsibility to know when he's about to do something stupid and warn him.
Boogie was given the 5k around 5 days ago according to him so he absolutely just waited last minute to try and talk to Coffee before posting that scam on his Twitter. Boogie is such a fucking shitty person.
Yeah, he's trying to shift blame/force responsibility onto Coffee. "Yeah, I did something awful, but I attempted to involve you five minutes before, so you are also to blame!" Hell, isn't that entrapment?
Nah he was trying to implicate Coffee. To me I think he messed up and was supposed to tweet BEFORE he got a reply. Then he could say "well I asked for advice but you was too late. So I thought it was fine because you (Coffee) never stopped me. But he messed up and opened it before the tweet. Otherwise why go to the effort to ask an expert just to ignore it 5 minutes later?
The eternal boogie cycle: do something bad -> get called out -> pretend you are a moron -> blame everything on your mental or physical state -> do something bad
I have never in the history of RU-vid followed Boogie2988, but over the years I've seen him come up in this exact same context with the exact same pathetic excuses and crybaby victim mentality. I have no idea why anyone would ever watch this loser's content, let alone buy his blatant scam token. I'm almost embarrassed as a human being that there exists enough mindless fools to enable Boogie to keep existing in this capacity.
When you understand enough about mental illness and PTSD, a lot of his behavior makes sense and is worthy of empathy and understanding. But when you understand enough about abusive patterns and deceptive behavior, it makes even *more* sense. It took me an admittedly stupid amount of time to realize that he doesn’t take any true responsibility for his actions or his mental illness, and, in fact, weaponizes it. I stopped having anything to do with him after I realized that.
This, he is a pathethic loser. He has literally no skills and no drive. The only reason he was popular was because he came to the platform early and played a victim.
thats not influencers, they will get cancel'd within a week.. there is only one person who can repeat the scams over and over again without the audience giving a poop. so the saying should be: "logan paul's today: get rich exploiting others -> play dumb -> wait -> repeat" i think we need a term for them, they arent influencers, i think "paul's" fits the best since these brothers are well known for rugpulls
My favourite fact about Boogie is that when a filmmaker was making the documentary "The Dark, Sad Life of Boogie2988", he had to take a break during the project because Boogie's life was so depressing it was affecting HIS mental health. My second favourite fact is that when he came back, Boogie had a girlfriend who was WAY younger than him and an abuse victim.
That comment from him drove me up a wall. Just another way he victimizes himself. "You wouldn't get mad at a guy DYING of CANCER would you??" Anyway, congrats to you and your wife!
Why are people still dumping money into crypto because "muh influencer" promotes it. Who tf out there thinks Boogie2988 has your financial interests in mind!?!?!?!?!
because people think other people will be dumb enough to buy their shitcoins to make other people buy their shitcoins and so on. I'd bet the vast majority of "investors" are not fans of boogie in the slightest (as if he had any remaining ones to begin with).
@@tarsiere7308 I also think much of crypto investing, and especially memecoins, have a huge element of late-stage capitalist FOMO. Exemplified most clearly with Doge (and GME for the memestock equivalent) when they were going crazy. People very close to me, who were vocal opponents of crypto at large, were scrambling to make Coinbase and Robinhood accounts because - in their words - they were sick of being broke while watching obnoxious jaggoffs buy Lambos and Teslas with the Bitcoin they bought ten years ago to buy weed off Silk Road in high school. I don't have sympathy for the crypto economy at large, but the low-income players are marks being taken advantage of by exploiting their genuine, valid frustrations with the rat race that is being poor. The people in that demographic that I know, who HAVE invested in crypto (or memestocks), have such little understanding of finance that even the concept you describe is beyond them. They buy the coins because they think they found a way to game a lottery and get a winning ticket. Shady crypto marketing reflects this, and these people are largely the ones left holding the bag.
I would literally never trust Boogie2988 for financial advice… he was making thousands of dollars a month during his prime and he still was about to lose his house because he couldn’t pay his mortgage.
I am in no way defending boogie by saying this but this is just in general, people can grow and change. I grew up in a very close minded environment so it took me much longer than it should have to be supportive of gay rights.
