Confronting Moriarty - Sherlock - BBC 

It physically hurts me to think that some people had to wait 2 years to find out what happens next

"Catch. You. Later." "No ya won't!" At this point, Moriarty accidentally walks into a cleaning closet. Embarrassed, he waits a few seconds, and walks back out claiming to be "Soooooo Changeable." In his head, the whole thing went better than planned.

There's a head canon that Moriarty accidentally walked into a storage cupboard and only walked back into the room because he needed an excuse to come back out without looking silly. 😂

Did anyone notice that at 1:56-2:00 Sherlock scratches his head with the LOADED pistol???

I love how Moriarty is standing near the sign that says "DEEP END." He certainly has gone off the deep end.

I am extremely conflicted about Moriarty because on one hand I love his character but on the other HOW DARE YOU TRY TO HURT LIL JOHN HE IS MY CHILD

At first I wasn't convinced that he was such a dangerous villain because of his voice and size lol, but then OMG, the way he said "I will burn the heart out of you"--you could see the crazy :///

I love how when you see John come through the door at the Swimming Pool you nearly start to think for two seconds "Could John be Moriarty?"

Love this character, he is so creepy and insane.

This is my favorite scene with Moriarty, and possibly my favorite scene from the series as a whole. From the moment John was revealed to have been taken hostage, the way this scene was delivered was just phenomenal. Moriarty coming out with no trace of fear, the look in Sherlock's eyes as he holds the man at gunpoint, the symbolism of Moriarty standing beside the "Deep End" sign.... and Sherlock replying to Moriarty saying that what he has to say is known, that "[his] answer has crossed [Moriarty's mind]". Finally, the look on Sherlock's face as he aims the gun at the explosive jacket, the way it screams, "If we're going down, so are you..." Brilliantly executed! Absolutely brilliant!

Hands down, BBC's Moriarty is the best TV/ movie villain I've ever had the pleasure of watching.

Andrew Scott is an amazing actor who made the reinvented Jim Moriarty the villain we all love to hate.

Moriarty's facial expressions are fascinatingly hypnotising. That voice is so unpredictable. The inflections, the teasing high-pitch tones. Arrghh Moriarty I missed you.

He really is the British version of Heath Ledgers Joker.

That moment at 1:27... Sherlock's eyes... I don't know they just break me every time, and then that sort if panic in his voice when he says "Are you alright??" I don't know I could cry every time I see this I just love this whatever sort of friendship thing between Sherlock and John because Sherlock cares so much but he can't show it

Personally I love the way Moriarty is played. I love the way he's all psychotic and unpredictable, which is quite creepy :D

I like how different Moriarty is here. He's very casual and calm but also with a sort of evil you can see bubbling underneath with a slightly funny side. It's very different and I think that's why it works for this show.

I just watched this episode tonight a few hours ago (it must have been a re-run?) and like I was screaming at the TV when he started rubbing it on his head like omfg. But holy crap, Moriarty is so cool xD "No you won't!" I love how... maniacally flamboyant he is XD and of course, "I'm glad no one saw that. You ripping my clothes off," I'm crying. So glad I decided to start watching Sherlock.

2:53 is my favorite. That "Are you ready to die with me to take him down?" look from Sherlock, and John giving a tiny nod without a second of hesitation. It's the sort of moment I could see them having if Sherlock had been with him in Afghanistan. They're fully brothers in arms at this point.

I have never watched a full episode of Sherlock. I'm too afraid I'll be obsessed. I'm already youtubing Moriarty's sassiest clips and Sherlock clips. Anyone else? xD

it's not worth it guys. we all already know this scene off by heart.

The only thing I can think of when watching this scene is how many people stood off to the side gleefully aiming laser pointers at Martin and Benedict. XD I mean, the movements seem erratic, as if the people wielding them were holding back laughter.

It would have been so awesome if it turned out that all those red lasers were just Badger and Skinny Pete holding multiple laser pointers :)
