@@CheezyCEAnimation Personally I don't really like it. I prefer his older serious tone. Though I get what he is trying to do and I am still going to watch him cause the information he gives is good.
@@ΦίλιπποςΖαχόπουλος As someone who was strongly against the change at first, it is a big change. It's a bit hard to adapt to this new style which is a mix of the "old" and the actual old videos. Even though I am completely fine with this new style now (he generally seems like he's having fun), it does take a bit to wrap our heads around it. I feel like hopefully the more he puts out the more "normal" it feels.
Hey Φίλιππος, the serious tone isn't going anywhere, it's just going to be directed more towards my books, tuition, and the member-only videos and streams, as generally those who prefer the lecture-style content, and a deeper delve into things, also tend to be the most dedicated to the subject and that generally also means the most supportive of the channel. But as a format it's not something that was working for front-page RU-vid, and the choice was either stop producing content here at all, or make some adaptions to suit the platform. So the latter option was definitely preferable.
Thank you for this amazing video, My friend told me that getting too excited in a lucid dream won't wake you up, or you can move in wild techniques when you want to scratch or swallow, He says people have spread these myths, and because we believe in them they become true but if we don't then they won't affect us, The reason why I'm writing this is really because I don't trust anyone else There are so many misinformation out there I can't stand It. Btw your 19 days course is amazing, keep up the good and truthful work.
Thanks D4nGeR, your friend is absolutely right about WILD induction techniques. They are a little off regarding waking up, but they are essentially right - it's not a major worry. But you do want to try to stay calm - as spikes in cortisol from strong emotions could lead to waking you up. But generally it's not something to worry about too much, just stay calm and collected. And yes, it is so frustrating how much misinformation is out there - I'll keep trying to do my best to grow the channel so we can battle that misinfo and give this subject a little more credibility. I don't think those who share misinformation understand exactly how much damage they do.
Just bought your book "Are You Dreaming" already a 1/3rd the way through, very well written and easy to read. I miss the mirrored sunglasses...the very first lucid dream I had my "dream guide" was wearing mirrored sunglasses with something indecipherable in the reflection!!
This is really good advice for beginners. Hopefully it will draw new people to your channel. Also, I hope that guy spotted a few dreams, because he certainly missed that train...
I finally got the reality check thing down in my dream. Last night's dream i did the check by looking at the cell phone in my dream. I looked away and back. The crazy thing is the text said, "Yes you're in a dream. " I was dreaming I was a headline dj. In the front row of my show was an Arabian Prince. He requested I DJ his wedding. Then realizing I was in the dream state, I used my new found super power to super charge their wedding. I used levitation for my dj set. Then their first dance I conjured a real cloud and levitated the bride and groom above the dance floor to do a real dance on a cloud. It was amazing and fun.
Hmm, what would my greatest wish be (besides immediately asking for 10 more wishes)? I think it would actually be pretty similar to what my original dream goal was. Being able to be shapeshift would probably be what I say first. Oh, and wealth just so that I can be stable for a while. Also health so I can keep going on and not run into problems. Maybe make sure I have success....awe smeg, I'm now thinking too much! Great video! Even though I didn't fully get the transition, I am now a believer in it. You provided great information about the topic and allowed me to stay invested for quite a bit. Sure, I was listening to it in the background but when I did look back at the screen, what I saw was really good and funny! I really liked the props! If you keep referring to the channel as a "tonight show" a suit or something might be a great prop! That aside, setting dream goals really helped me out. I use to just think about doing the same one (even when I didn't feel like it) and it started feeling like a job. Nowadays I just pick what I want before I go to sleep and try to visualize it a tad bit. It's much more fun and works a lot better as well (even lucid dream brain is still a bit wonky but similar enough to everyday brain). Even though I still pick my og goal some nights, other nights I just want a simple goal like feeling a bit of comfort or meeting a particular dreamling. It worked wonders and kept my interest in this going! Great video like I was saying earlier! Now, what other wishes do I have? Hydrokinesis, proving my theories about Cosmøtron is right, being able to teleport...
Ah yes, the classic "more wishes" - definitely the wise option. And I'm so glad that you've adjusted to the changes - hopefully it all makes sense now!
love the creativity of your videos ! this is why are you probably successful with Lucid Dreams aswell ! subconscious mind loves creativity , it doesn’t like the routine and that’s my problem though I gotta change techniques etc more often 😅
Thanks Stunter, I really appreciate you saying that. And just had a look at your channel, very cool indeed. I think your mind could be suited to lucid dreaming, as the level of focus it takes for stunts is a very similar process.
Finally got around to watching it. Your impression of the dream mind is especially how I feel after i wake up from a dream and think to myself, how the hell did I think that was real.
Do you have help with these videos or is it all yourself? If so, that’s very impressive, as editing complex visuals is yet another difficulty of running a YT channel.
Very well done! Love the video so entertaining yet so insightful, I'll share as much as I can. I'd love a world where atleast most people know or has tried lucid dreaming.
I’ve paused the video briefly to say that in-depth understanding was the major benefit I got from your book “Are You Dreaming?”. It provided fundamental information that I could not get anywhere else, as it was so much more, well, in-depth.
0:37 how lucid dreaming can make me live forever you say that you "found a way to make all my dreams come true no matter how crazy" and you say "it's very real and it's called lucid dreaming" so if you are right, it should be possible to become immortal using lucid dreaming
Allow a little room for artistic licence here! 🤣 No lucid dreaming won't make you immortal (personally that sounds like a curse to me... infinity would drive you quite insane). But you could experience what it's like to feel immortal, as nothing can hurt you in the dream world... plus you have all of time and space to explore within your dreams.
A good start for someone new to the subject, especially nipping in the bud some early common pitfalls. Unfortunately, the pencil walrus trick doesn’t work anymore, Melchett and Darling still expect you to go over the top for the Big Push tomorrow. Also, that’s a quest I spot. I know you’ve got your VR videos, but do you have any favorite activities you do with it in your spare time?
Wow, that was very well produced! I think this is a great way to introduce beginners to the subject. I will try sharing with friends. Just don't overdo yourself with this. I hope you haven't suffered too much from slow PC performance with 4k. I kind of hope you're using proxies or something to make the editing experience more tolerable regarding performance. I don't think I could go back to editing regular footage with very slow performance without using proxies. Either way, I enjoyed this sensible approach to teaching the subject and am looking forward to the direction this is going in!
I’ve been trying to lucid dream for almost a year now. But I’ve had issues getting one. Tried mild wild. Journal. None. Defined my goal, reality checks, I’ve had one fake lucid dream, so I know I’m close.
You've probably picked up a whole bunch of useless information along the way. For example, the fact that you mention MILD and WILD as if they are both techniques, means you've probably been misled (one is a technique, the other a type of lucid dream), also most MILD tutorials are wrong and focus on mantras (utterly not the real technique). So, even if you have all the best intentions in the world, if you've been given bad tools - you won't have success. It sounds like you're dedicated, check out the MILD tutorial here on the channel and give that a go :)
Thank you very much for your new video. I hope all the hard work you are putting into these will pay off! I always hope to find the one or the other little bit of information which advances me a bit. I'm still trying the maintained awareness path, although it's pretty hard to find the right balance. Maybe in one of the following videos some info about this will be included. But I guess I could also search your older videos for more info about that. Also: algorithm monster!
Well so I guess I have ever had no more than a couple actual lucid dreams, and many dreams where I know I'm dreaming but I definitely don't have a logical mind!
I lucid dreamed once I’ve always been good at remembering my dreams and I’ve even been kinda aware or I could only control one part of my body parts so not real lucid dreaming However when I did I immediately tried to become a mermaid and failed since logic was still messing with me Then I thought of something scary and I decided to let lose of my lucidity Later on in the dream I partially regained it but then my alarm went off ofc
@@mikkareads Haha, it could be way worse! He's been giving me D&D inspiration for a while! Wish-giving (and totally not backstabbing) goblins wouldn't even be the worse idea related to LDT (formally LDP)! I've strongly considered making Norris a druid npc who is trying to sell them "experiences" with his fungi. Oh, and Norris can teleport. I've strongly considered that.
@@mikkareads Yeah, it's fun! I just got back into it after a year and a half. I'm the DM for my gaming club at college and I just started my first campaign last night. Glad that the idea sounds good though. And I hope you find a group if you go out looking for one!
I had a fake lucid dream a couple days ago. How do I prevent these? And if I were to fix the problem, and have another time when I would dream about lucid dreaming would it be a real lucid dream? Also thank you for your honesty on this topic 😃
They needn't be avoided, as often they are a sign that lucidity is taking root in your mind. But, if you follow the free course here on the channel, that should prepare you move past them.
I got a lucid dream but then i found myself in in a false awakening but all the reality checks failed to show it is false i found it out when i really work up what to do is it normal (It was my 1st lucid dream)
Unfortunately, I can't achive my greatest wish by lucid dreaming, unless lucid dreaming is just jumping out of your bed and controlling things, which it's not, because if it was I'd be hearing about stories of "random person teleports somewhere and uses magic". So, what is my greatest wish, then? I'm sorry, but I can't write books in the comment section...
Daniel, answer this pls… I’ve had one lucid dream where I accidently fall back in a dream and became lucid. Afterwards I’ve had dreams were i found out i was dreaming but when i did the dream kinda stopped and i wake up. I try to fall back when realizing but doesnt seem to help. Any ideas what to do?
Hi Zzz, there should be a "thanks" button just to the right of the like button (on a PC the icon is a $ inside a heart) - I know it's not available in all countries, but if you're able to have membership, it should be there for you. Thanks for asking, I really appreciate those who want to support the channel
ok weird question but Should I try to get an 8 year old to practise lucid dreaming and if so is there a video I could show them to get them a bit more excited or should I just use this video? Since it would be a pretty cool skill to have as a kid.
Hello everyone! I have been doing reality checks for a month and yesterday i did them in a dream and my finger went through my hand and i didn't become lucid! The i could still breathe while plugging my nose! My friend went up to me and said that i am dreaming and much more!! Can anyone help???
It sounds like you're missing the most important aspect of reality testing: mindset. The tests are mostly useless unless you are engaging critical thinking as their basis. Watch the 19 day free course here on the channel and it will give you the correct tools and mindset to fix this.
