Connecting Latinx Families With Mental Health Resources 

Southern Oregon Latino students face systemic barriers on a daily basis. The pandemic and wildfires complicated this and created additional stress. Finding and accessing mental health resources became a priority for many Latinx families. In collaboration with Southern Oregon University Latino Programs, OSU Extension’s Open Campus has conducted listening sessions and needs assessments with families in our programs. As a result we partnered with community agencies to offer the type of help families were asking for.
