Unfortunately it’s very unlikely back when s3 finished airing we weren’t even supposed to get 4 and 5 due to low ratings then it was cancelled again In s5 because of once again low ratings and itv didn’t want to continue the series

@@ctrlhypewall the cancellation after season 3 was because of ITV’s financial troubles. Still I imagine what seasons 4 and 5 would’ve been if that wouldn’t have happened. Danny and Sarah would likely have still been in the team as they couldn’t return after the revival due to scheduling.

Unfortunately the show was mishandled, and it never really recovered after Douglas Henshall left and his character was killed off. If he'd stayed, certain storylines centred around Cutter wouldn't have been discarded and the show wouldn't have left so much unresolved.

well, in New World Connor only has few cameos and he`s not a comic relief, but something of a mentor for Evan, so i don`t think there are any jokes in there

Oh, that's not fair. Plenty of people are just as "quirky" as Connor, if not more so. It's not age-restricted. Dude's just insanely smart and possibly somewhere on the neurodivergent spectrum.

For me Connor was the best character for me. I liked how his character changes a lot though this show and how underneath all that funny and a half wit guy, he was a smart, brilliant and a fast thinker person underneath all that. I also did like Lucy as well. I like how she had to change characters during the 1st and 2nd series. That was cool. I liked all the characters really but if I had to choose one of the worst characters and that was Stephen Hart. I liked him in the first series but I thought they started ruining his character in the 2nd series and he was starting going behind Nick and the team back.
