@@mr.invisible.782he's out of USDA testing pool, he's going to need at least a year of clear blood tests to be allowed back to compete. Realistically 1.5 years
A large height disparity doesn't necessarily mean that the two individuals can't belong in the same weight class, I've met guys that are 5'8 or less and like 6'6 that boxed at the same weight. That being said yeah Ian does look bigger than Conor
@thunder7073 Conor isn't a true FW he absolutely killed himself to make that weight lol... He is a true LW but has probably blown up too much off the sauce to even make 155 now.
I think it intentionally didn't land, or he at least threw it slow enough to give Ian time to react. You don't want to hit a sparring partner in the face with that when you are just having fun.
It's smart, but you don't want your hands to get trapped like that on the pursuit in. If Ian has a bit of Muay Thai, he can control the wrists and throw a savage knee, or get an . Never give your opponent control over your wrists. Luckily UFC doesn't allow 12-6 elbows. 'Cause if you catch a vertical elbow in that position, you are missing a chunk of your face. Push the arms away, elbow unblocked up the middle.
@@TvrkishOutlawWhy should it be her ex bf last name? Or do you mean her ex husband? But that doesn't make much sense either because after divorce the last name would be changed back to her original last name, wouldn't it?
You almost always have to give some to get more in those matchups. Even if it’s not in an exchange, you’re bound to take damage closing distance and purchasing real estate within the taller dudes striking range so making those openings count is crucial to winning that fight
@@mixedmartialnutrition1746His biggest issue was he was facing another high level striker and got messed up. Its all well and good when you’re fighting midgets.
This is sort of like when Conor fought at 145. This dude is gigantic for the class, at his natural weight. But Conor's movement still looks on point, surprisingly.
It's gonna take more than a workout with Connor for Gary to start winning support. If he can keep his mouth shut till the end of his next fight, he's got half a chance of gaining legit support for his career.
Fun fact, McGregor isn’t at an exceptional disadvantage, he has a 74-75 inch reach, Ian Garry has 77 inch reach max, meaning Connor is no even feeling what his opponents usually feel against him… with a 70 inch reach
@@kelemenraul8859wtf are you talking about? Ian Garry is in the UFC. He is a ranked welterweight in the UFC. Conor has had three fights at welterweight in the UFC
I believe Jesus is the way to truth to abundant life. Love him with all your heart, seek his truth, call to him for that he would ask the Father to show you wisdom.
If Conor fights like he did Aldo and also Eddie Alvarez he's unbeatable, if he finds a way to mix those 2 fighting style together and train them everyday spar he will become a danger in the division again.
Can I ask a public question? What exactly is a measure of getting the better of someone in sparring? Does it mean when you absolutely land everything you throw and they can’t land on you or is there something else to look for?
He still has the habit of planting his feet super long when he is in range, step back and calf kick would be a super good counter if you bait him into hands range then step out of hands range for your kick
Connor has still got a few wins left in him don't let him losing to a prime & very active Dustin Porier after a 3 year break fool you if he comes back focused & not trying to fight the top 3 guys straight away he's gonna shock everybody
Is it just me or is he fighting suuper similar to the glory days. The stance to pull counter, finding his range well, almost predicting whats coming, lots of kicks
Garry is tall, but he is lanky and skinny, that's why he is only a welterweight. A lot of the MMA community don't seem to understand that height is just one axis of human size, if you aren't big in the X and Y axis then you really aren't that big of a person. Garry isn't a big person, sorry. There are people who are Garry's height in the Z axis, yet they are at least 20% larger in the Y axis and even around 25% larger in the X axis. BTW this extra size isn't fat, it is literally bone, and cartilage and muscle, it is the base mass of the body. These large people thus despite being Garry's height, their natural body weight is around 115kg, meaning they are a HW.
Everyone saying his stance is back lol. In a Conor fan and he looks stuck in the mud compared to how he used to move. He doesn’t bounce back and forth anymore it’s more flat footed and he takes more hits
