We are still in lockdown in the UK so here is one from the archive. In July 2019 we took our caravan on a trip to Ipswich and Dagnall and this is the first part of that trip. These films were made for my videography facebook group.

That was lovely really enjoyed it ,that is place I want to see the site of the The Hay Wain, I always think of the late Barbara Windsor now after seeing her on the show Who Do You Think You Are as she found out she was a direct cousin of John Constable and she went there Ito the mill on the show . A triumph once again Ken. How do you match music so beautifully with your clips? Pachelbel's Canon would grace any charming scene such as Constable country but you think them all through so well. I just loved the "When the boat comes in" clip from your last video too - so apposite. I notice you delved deep in this one - the undersea world of Ken Cousteau 😊 - ooh and a bit of politics thrown in too. Please keep them coming and thank you again.

Hi John. When matching music I ask myself what emotion am I trying to create in the viewers mind. Happy, sad, anxious etc etc. Then search for whatever you need e.g. ‘sad music’ 👍

Another great vlog. When I lived and worked in Colchester I had a print of the Hay Wain on my wall. John Constable is among my favourite artists. When lockdown ends I must pay another visit to the area.

One of my friends lived in East Bergholt and we used to walk from her house to Dedham Vale every now and then. The last time I visited, about 10 years ago shamefully, everything was rather basic for visitors, so it's nice to see that people are much better catered for nowadays.

The National Trust have done a good job and the boat trips are an added bonus 🙂👍
