WHAT IS ALTERNATOR
An electrical machine that converts the motion energy converted by a converter machine into electrical energy. Alternators are alternating current generators. It is generally used in places where electrical energy cannot be supplied from the grid. Alternator can be used with various converters such as water turbines, wind, diesel engine.
WHAT IS ELECTROMAGNETS
An electromagnet is a magnet made from iron using electric current. Both ends of the electromagnet attract magnetic materials. The poles of the electromagnet can be found according to the right hand rule. This rule is that if the wire is wound on the coil from below, we hold the right hand by grasping the coil from the bottom. The thumb of our right hand points to the 'N' pole of the electromagnet. If the battery is reversed, both ends of the electromagnet will attract the same, but the polarity will be reversed.
The poles of the electromagnet depend on the direction of the current flowing through the winding. When we wrap our hand with the four fingers of our right hand in the direction of the current flowing over the coil, the thumb points to the north pole. The other end becomes the south pole. The north pole is the positive part of the magnet and the south pole is the negative part.
The force of attraction of an electromagnet;
Directly proportional to the number of turns in the coil,
Directly proportional to the amount of current flowing through the wire,
Directly proportional to the number of batteries,
Directly proportional to the voltage of the battery,
It is inversely proportional to the length of the winding.
The electromagnet does not always show magnetism, when the current is cut off, the magnetism is lost and electromagnets can be in the form of "up" and "rod".
Electromagnets convert audio signals into electrical signals in old telephones, and are used in the construction of electric bells, computer construction, high-speed trains, telephone headsets, telegraphs, and many electronic devices.
