Hello there, in this video I tried to explain you contact types in ANSYS Structural. I gave information about which contact type allows seperation or which contact type allows sliding, and I tried to simulate those characteristics of contact types. In some of the configutations, I have shown you the error ANSYS gave since movement is exist and Static Structural module cannot simulate movements.
Thank you for watching.

Thanks Sir for this wonderful lecture on bonded contact. However, may I pleaSe ask can we get mesh merged when using bonded contact ? What I mean to say is that using spaceclaim shared topology we can have same mesh between two bodies. However, can we achieve that when doing bonded contact. I will really appreciate your reply?

Normally, no. Bonded contact still seperates parts in terms of meshing. If you define a contact mesh for the bonded contact with the same properties of meshes on the parts, you can achieve a very similar mesh orientation as in shared topology. Also, I suggest you to check 'mesh connection'. Hope you can achieve.

Thank you for good video on contact type, I have a doubt how to find out the contact stress and in your video results are showing von Mises stress (equivalent stress).
