Aaron, your knowledge of these plants and enthusiasm just warms my heart. You pay attention to your wife's passion and that is the sweetest thing. She is blessed to have you. My beginning pic - Number Five !
I loved your last year's competition and they turned out really beautiful. Excited for this year's container update. My son is 5 and he loves your videos. He says they are very colorful and beautiful. He already wants a farm with a lot of flowering plants. You have a little fan..
#2 #3 #5 #8. Could not pick just one or 2! Great planting. Your zone seems awesome! It gets so HOT and dry where I live. Those worms or rather caterpillars get my flowers too. My roses as well
You may never see this comment, but you both (Laura and Aaron) and your channel bring so much joy in my life. I was already a big fan, but as I care for COVID patients everyday, I really look forward to your uplifting, educational, funny videos! Gardening has become my solace. My yard has never looked better. From the bottom of my heart: THANK YOU!!!!!
I echo your statement. I feel the same way. My husband is starting to watch, too. (I work in a hosp and a covid icu so I can relate to the constant feeling of stress, and this channel is the perfect way to escape.)
Aaron’s editing is so funny...the label at the start “uhh, em, f” and the flashing odd on the screen for voting.. You both work so well together it is lovely to watch
"You are good at lots of other things" I loved hearing Laura reassuring Aaron that he is NOT a bad person. It was fun watching you both compete, more so like collaborating with each other. My choices are 5, 8 & 9. Can't wait to see the progress!!
I was so excited to see this when I woke up my husband just laughed at me. But he's in the spirit and has decided to compete with me and do a flower bed of his own. Please keep up the inspiration. I've been trying to get this man in the flower beds for years. 😂😂😂 I should have known to make it a competition.
I love when Aaron makes an appearance in the video! He has such a fun personality. So happy to see you doing the container competition this year, it's one of my favorite projects of yours. My top picks are #3, 4, and 5
In past videos she says she actually does enjoy red! Just not so much in her own garden and I totally relate! I’m so drawn to purple, white, and coral! But looking at Aaron’s pot #5 I love the red!
As soon as I see you two together I smile....you are soo good together. The friendly banter is so fun to watch....besides which I'm with Aaron, less is more! Love you Laura...but...Go Aaron!! 😂😂 (If Benjamin was included you two would loose...just for his smile!) 😊
“This one’s bent”. Rips plant and throws on ground. Laura, you’re a savage lol I love your channel! I have learned so much. Thank you for such great content 😃
I was so excited to see this video! I must say, as a pastor's wife, I would feel so blessed to have members of our church family that would want to to this! What a blessing you must be!
Can we see the edited part of the video after Aaron said "you compete with everything" Laura's reaction wasn't included..7 and 8 I like. Quarantine has made you funnier.
8, 4 & 9 in that order. That monochromatic number 8 is glorious! Next year I want to present you with the biggest challenge you have ever faced! You are not allowed to use any type of petunia! Go!
I had this exact same thought man! Another thought I had was to do each pot in a different monochromatic theme, in particular a red one! I did that last year at my business and it was awesome. There are some super cool colors out there!
Yes!!! Getting a little overplayed. I would love to see them use something different. But then, the petunias do so well so I get why they are on repeat.
17:44 Laura is so hardcore. I love it. If a flower is broken, she just pulls it off. 😂🌸 I gently cut them off and put them in a vase. 🙈 I vote for no 8.
16:45 That man straight up disappeared!!!!! I love when y'all do these challenges together. Y'all have such a great complimentary relationship! Fave Laura: 2 and 8 Fave Aaron 5 and 9 but they are all glorious!
That was crazy as Aaron & Laura didn't move & their conversation kept flowing - so where was the editing that should have showed something change w/ them too?!?!😲
@@bridgetwilkins312 I saw it the first time because everything's just as it should be and then a little extra motion in the screen... then poooooff!! I guess that is part of the Proven Winners Magic!!! #provenwinners
I loved them all but I vote for Aarons pots, he really puts alot of thought into them. Can't wait to see when they take off and mature. What a nice video.
You guys are freaking hilarious. I love that you guys do this every year. As soon as I saw this in my subscriptions I clicked on it so fast. Aaron with the plant tag and his competition comment. Laura with her you just rest and dont vote odd😂😂😂 My favorites are 2 and 8 and no it's not because Laura told me not to vote odd.
How fun was that 😂. I love when you planted together , you guys are great together. Aaron's knowledge is getting impressive, he is learning and you should be proud Laura. Cant wait to see what they all lool like. Plz keep us up tp date in their progress.. Plz stay safe and thank you for sharing 🙏💖
I see this kind of thing on my channels. The writer repeats back what the channel host has said. I don't understand this. They know what they said. Can't see how this adds into the conversation or is encouraging to the host.
This is your passion and your honey shares and supports your passion. I’m so loving watching you two interact. I love the balance, patience and communication. 💕💕
Aaron: why do i want to call every plant a supertunia Laura: *Laughs* NOOB Hahahahaha seeing you to interact is so adorable, and my favorite planter so far is the purple mix that Laura made with the sparkling amethyst
"This is the container a la Laura?" Lol. I bought 2 cardinal stars last year on clearance and they ended up being so beautiful w the honey. Go, A!!!!!! 😁
@@nelliehagen5267 it's a superbelle cardinal star proven winners petunia which Aaron planted in this video. Laura mentioned it was her school's colors and never planted it before. I typically don't go for those colors, but I bought it at a big markdown and ended up really liking it 👍
I’m surprised Proven Winners posted this video before you guys. Was just in the middle of watching it on Facebook but had to come finish watching on your channel. 😊
They've done that before. I'm guessing it's done with Laura's consent and/or they're contractually bound to do some videos for PW (which means they probably didn't have to pay for the plants). All conjecture on my part.
8, 9, and 10 are my favorites but honestly they're all good. And I'd happily watch a reoccurring series of "Planting with Aaron and Laura" like coffee talk but with plants lol. You two are fun.
I love, love number 8. You two are too sweet together. Does someone knows if Laura managed to do a video on the bulbs they planted last year on the church yard? I watch all the videos they are posting, but I don't remember seeing an update.
I'm so glad you did these again! I finally had the chance to plant some PW. My local Lowes carried a good variety this year so I released my inner Laura and planted pots and hanging baskets for my mom. My favorites 3,4 and 8!
I always love these friendly competitions between the two of you. Can’t wait to see how the plants grow and fill in the containers. In a previous video you mentioned wanting to up your labeling game, Laura. Was there a reason you didn’t put the tags in the containers today? It seems like it might be a great place for tags since these are public containers and people might be interested in what the plants are (once were all able to get back to more normal social activities). I love your channel SO MUCH! You’re a natural in front of the camera, Laura! And big shout out to Aaron for his amazing editing skills. The videos are always super professional!
I so appreciate how you have listed every pot by number and the contents. It really will help me to copy what you have done. Picking a favorite is almost impossible I love every one of them. I going to say '5', however.......... Thank you for being an awesome teachers.
I just have to say I love the enthusiasm that shows for these competitions. To see y’all both excited to see who’s pot combinations will look the best; I keep telling my husband that we should have a plant off, I’ve almost got him willing to participate lol. And as far as my favorite I had started writing down the numbered pots I liked and by the time I finished I realized I liked all the color combos.
Yaaaay waking up to this is a treat , the only thing missing is my morning coffee cuz I am fasting . Love you guys what a nice gesture to give back to your community
