ik im 2 years late, but.... if you notice, the tentacle can only hit where you were when the tentacle spawned. to break it down, let's say that if you were standing in one position, and hastur spawned a tentacle. that tentacle can hit you if you stand in the same position, but if you move away from the range of the tentacle, that tentacle can't hit you, and will instead automatically hit at the spot where you were when the tentacle first grew. note: it hits at the position where you were when the tentacle first starts spawning, not in the position after it finishes growing. i hope this helped :3

I think its because you are running towards them straight up front , u should run towards to reach the tentacles side not front so instead of (!) It should be (.l)
when i see the hunter is feaster (me and my friend play and she mains minds eye ww) i always look for him and make sure to kite him early game because a fed feaster is bad news ;-;

I remember I kited a fully fed Feaster in 2v8 at Lakeside map by the boat. No pallets were used before I kited and during my kite. He kept trying to spawn tentacles and placing the curse mark on me for 180 seconds before giving up on me. I remember that I ran through and baited him at the pallets since they were all unused and kept dodging the tentacles by running close to them and getting out of their radar before they hit. Mainly, there’s two ways to dodge a tentacle, moving in then changing direction/running back or running towards it like you did xD
wwwwwwwww I like the latter way more~ Changing direction is pretty risky: when you think you are safe and went back, the lingering CD of the tentacle is still able to hit you!!
POV: you’re enchantress (tarot) and you equipped the wrong persona and your squires aren’t with you. Tentacles are like everywhere causing you to transition for very long. And COULDNT USE THE VAULTING SPEED BOOST. (realises the seer uses owl for saving and cowboy uses rope for saving only)and BOOM *dies* (this is really helpful for kiting hastur but I already watched it and I still can’t do it.) (if you are asking about the apes I couldn’t use them because of long distance how his attack range can be X-X)
How to counter feaster don't get caught early game he is one of the slowest hunters in the game but beware his poke attack (which is a tap on the attack button instead of a hold)

-N1vr4m - you must be low tier. mid tier to high tier theres no such thing as teammates going down in less than a minute ww even the mechanics and minds eyes try their best to last 60 seconds.

i usually avoid it by running away from it, but sometimes it hits me sometimes it misses but sometimes i dodge it, the feaster will be near me to hit me 😆😆😆 thanks for the tip. btw please make tips about rescuing a teammate on a rocket chair when the feaster is camping and his tentacle is next to the rocket chair.
If yoy cant do this like me you can use wrenchs on the tentacles to avoid them cuz when you tap them you teleport their back and they hit the place that they see you firstly and it cant hit you 🤔🤗
As a feaster main there are ways of playing him that guide the person around a tentacle to simply pull them closer for a strike. So the tentacles still have some good use even with this trick in place. But yes, do get skilled in dodging tentacles or I may get you ! :p
when ur teammates r chaired, the mech doesn't get any decoding debuff. so she is still faster than her doll. the debuff only activates when ur teammates r injured. a common misconception.
ww Are you sure~? The description says that as long as a teammate is hurt (ex. Incapacitated, Chaired, Brought On To A Ballon), her decoding speed will suffer~
@@civilian9942 yeah i'm sure. it doesn't count when teammates is chaired/ballooned. they mean hurt as in literally hurt. i only dk if 25% dmg affects her tho. but yeah, i'm sure. u can try if u want - when teammate is chaired/ballooned u decode equally fast. until he/she gets rescued n u can see that u r suddenly decoding rlly slowly
Could u give us some tips on how to deal with embalmer as a hunter? I never know if I should travel to his coffin or not (especially if its miles away from me)
Of sometimes broken hunters* Wu Chang, Geisha, Clown, Hell ember are all balanced killers then you have Soulweaver that makes you want to instant quit the game.

Borrowed time: When 5 ciphers are done, you are immediately healed once (injured->fully healthy or inticipated->injured,...) and you also have boost for 5s at once ;) Therefore, you have to remember: Dont just decode without thinking. when you decode the last cipher, you have to WAIT untill someone has just been inticipated, or been hit by the hunters and finish this cipher, they will have boost and be healed immediately. Be smart ;)

The reason why I fear that hunter is because his extra bits and animations makes everything so laggy XD multiple tentacles sprouting at once crash the hell out of me. Am I the only one that has problems with Feaster, Photographer and Mad Eyes? There extra everything sucks for me XD
If you run to a direction when your fear bar is full, the tentacle will spawn in that direction. But if you crouch, walk, or vault then the tentacle will spawn right next to you.
Ooohh ok thank you 😊 but I don't think that would still work after feaster adjustment cuz i saw ppl circling around the tentacle to avoid it not running towards it. I was looking for a feaster counter but theres no latest video about that :(
Jouie Arienda well the video is a bit misleading just by looking at it. But it does work. You should watch competitions to see how ppl puts into work. You dont necessarily need to run around it. You like run toward it but like with the right timing. I suggest practicing in matches or watching competitions.

You people cant even kite the feaster? Tbh kiting feaster is easy. I can kite him like 3-4 chiper with gardener (bought speed boost when vaulting) And there is me in the corner where i cant even kite geisha with 1 chiper 😥😥😥😫
lol same ww i can easily kite feaster, wu chang, clown, ripper, etc for 3-5 ciphers but with geisha i can only do 2 ciphers most of the time. well i can do 3 ciphers or more if i use perfumer tho.
