For every aspiring content creator watching, this is exactly how your story would turn out to be. Just get at it.

I don't have a twitch account. I don't really use Tiktok....I've never seen you before......but dude, I really needed to hear this. Thank you! Usually, videos like this are all about the revenue....and that's nice to hear....but at the end of the day, it's the freedom and peace of mind that we want. And it's great to be reminded.

I changed my plans and got over my perfectionism and self doubt to launched my first video yesterday. I kept telling myself I needed to do this or that first and be good at it before I can publish my first video. I switched to accepting being sub par for now as long as I get better with each video. I have considered deleting it at least once an hour since. I decided to view it differently - it got 11 views and 1 like. That means just over 9% of people who viewed it liked it. Sort of negative thoughts get negative results and positive thoughts get positive results.

Liking the video at 40 second for the bravery of quiting your 9-5 job. The company I worked for closed in December and I decided not to get employed and start making content full time and I had to get a new job a month ago. Why? I did not apply myself and made like 1 video per month. That's on me. Now I'm making weekly videos and it looks like in a year from now I'll be able to quit this temporary job. I want to hear more about your journey.

I will be back in 6-12 months time hopefully with my own success story but also to see how much further you have grown in that time, keep pushing forward but don't overdo it take time to step back and see the whole picture when needed.

Just started believing in myself and my abilities after a very long and dark season in my lilfe. I just started making shorts as a way to see if people could relate to me and to my surprise they do. Its the warmest feeling to know people care about what youre doing. My channel jumped from 100 subs to over 300 subs in anout a month after one of my shorts went kind viral. Im so happy and feel so blessed people continue to follow what im doing and it encourages me to keep pushing out content. RU-vid it like my therapy rn. Its helping me build confidence in myself and my abilities rn. Keep up the good work and hope you find more success within yourself. ❤

This was incredibly valuable BUT I think the craziest part was that my journey to becoming a creator is so so similar I literally had chills... I'm at the point where I'm going to relaunch everything from scratch with all the knowledge that I have and also with being more confident about who I am and what I enjoy creating... 🥺 Now I understand my WHY. It's the freedom. I never liked working for someone else... And the passion for social media never went down no matter how many times I failed. Sure it's hard when things go wrong, you get burned out or feel ashamed for the actions taken but seriously, for me it's so much harder to work for someone else and never reach my full potential. It's like going to the shop to buy some shoes - you don't just give up and start walking barefoot because the pair you tried on didn't fit you. You go to the next shop, and the next one, maybe even try another town or shop online... You know there's sooooo many options.... But when it comes to our dreams we put ourselves in to a small box with only one entrace... You are capable of so much more. Try again. I believe in you. ❤

Thanks dude. Sometimes RU-vid videos aren’t always about the “how to” sometimes they’re about the “you can do it don’t give up”. My wife and I have been doing RU-vid for 2 years now and things are really starting to come together but it’s so hard to be consistent when you both work full time and are raising a young child, and sometimes I wonder am I just kidding myself with all of this like I should just work my job and raise my family but then I feel like I’m just another notch in my family ancestry, not only do I want to make something of myself but I want to make a better life for my family. Like you said you just gotta convince yourself to do it and just keep at it cause you will look back one day and be like I can’t believe I doubted myself this whole time. I love how real you are, even showing emotion. I've been on the fence when it comes to creating and dabbled in my own creations in the past (streaming video games, fitness tiktoks/shorts, and some generalized promo videos).. I have an amazing job to learn how to craft my skills (News photographer/editor) and I've been doing that for about a year and a half. My real goal is to find "freedom" as you mentioned while creating. I know it will take a ton of work and long hours (again, as you mentioned), but I thank you for this video.. I think this gave me the inspiration I need to finally get going again.

Hard to listen to this was buddy, that feeling of freedom, I feel like it’s there but at arms length. Shits so hard right now. The wife was doing well with work a month or so ago and gave me the go ahead to go full time on my content. But since it’s gone down hill we’re missing bills and having to skip on food shops making sacrifices with the kids. I feel so guilty not working a “proper job” but I know I can make this shit work and the family will be better off way more than it would have when I was a tradesman. You’ve gave me hope today.. thank you ❤

This is awesome bro! I am a tech entrepreneur & found success there but want to start a YT so bad. It’s the only thing I’ve put off for years. Proud of you for sticking with it. What I will say on the making more $$ thing, I made over $2M profit at 26. Only reason I share that is because more money 100% does not bring more happiness. I thought it would and had a massive wake up call at 28 when I felt just completely empty, although I had everything I thought I wanted. Quickly realized it was never about money itself. It’s the freedom of not worrying about bills, being able to spend time with friends and family whenever, being able to create anything you want, etc… You can achieve all of these things making $10k-$20k/mo. When you surpass a certain amount, quality of life doesn’t seem to go up and actually declines instead. If I started from 0 again, my goal would be to achieve $20k/mo consistently, have freedom to create, and live a happy life with the people I love. Any income made beyond that, doesn’t really matter too much. Cheers brother.
