7:35 I heard a story once about an American that came to Norway to see the midnight sun. He was very disapointed when he realized its just the normal sun but at night, that he paid so much just to see the sun he could see at home.
6:40 "jaja" is also often used to express something like "yeah, whatever" If a German speaker really agrees with you she/he'll usually just say "ja" once.
@@RepublikRakyatNusantara mostly due to volcanic activity tho,so it's still volcano 😅 And the Philippines is also known for terrible earthquakes anyways
11:07 Ah yes! Finally a meme showing how Italy and Albania are basically best/good friend. Also would be funny to see a meme where Italy reassert its claim in the Balkans
As a Filipino, yes, please don't live here. Our summers are a living hell and our typhoon season is an even bigger living hell. Also our politics are complete bullcrap. I still love my country tho 🇵🇭💞
Totally true. It's damn hot in Summers and your seasons are devastating. Your politics is so confused and so so messed up Still Mabuhay Phillipines 🇫🇷👋🇵🇭
Tambora and Krakatoa have nothing on Toba. Toba almost made humans go extinct 74,000 years ago. Most died because of starvation and because ash from Toba blocked the sun and it got really cold
3:55 , every time i see a Falkland meme/comic it fills my heart.. I am Swedish, but my grandpa was Scottish-Gael, who had a family member who was a PARA in the Falkland during the war
13:15 Neat detail Brazil actually spoke on Portuguese and Chile spoke on English, nice reference Chile has the highest percentage of English-speakers of Latin America
Technically Russia didn't do anything unequal to Ukraine Holodmore was a part of the Soviet famine, so I mean they treated everyone "equally" *communism at its finest*
7:53 Honestly from what I know of the UK's summer, it's never really "blazing hot". Right now France & Germany have the UK's summer temperature in spring...
These days, there's about a total of 5+ summer days with temperatures of 30C or above. In non-hilly parts of England and south coast of Wales, at least. The stereotypical British weather only actually applies to Scotland, north west England, Cornwall, and western Wales. Climate-wise, London is actually a very average European city.
4:24 Quite literally 99.8% of Falklands residents want to remain under Britain, the other 0.2% want independence. There isn't an "Argentinian Falklands" flag.
What I hate about living in Canada is that every one of those seasonal weathers was accurate except for the winter last year. In Newfoundland at least there was less that 2 feet of snow at almost every day in the winter (below average).
Good to see that Bhutan recognises my existence. 7:15 Northern reaches of Canada, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Russia near 21st June. Possibly southern reaches of Chile and Argentina around 21st December. And the other side of the year, the Sun never rises, which is probably worse. 10:16 "Ustavi" sounds a lot like "Zastavte", which literally means "Stop" (verb, order, plural, second person).
According to Wikipedia, Bhutan will recognise only those countries that are willing to invest in it's development. Both ROC & PRC will never recognise Bhutan because it was created as a breakaway state of Tibet by those Buddhists who didn't accept the Dalai Lama's supremacy, & so they claim Bhutan as a part of Tibet.
7:26 - Spent a summer in Cambridge Bay and that 24h sun will mess you up. I had a couple times when I figured I'd take a quick walk for something to do (there is nothing to do in Cambridge Bay) and didn't realize it was 3AM until I saw the one store in town wasn't open. I don't think I could handle 24h of night if 24h of day messed with me so much.
In the Philippines, people still drink hot coffee and wear jacket even if its 39° outside. Don't even wish for rain, it's either storm or typhoon will be granted. Typhoon is very common that even the flood is already almost your stomach, school and work is still isn't suspended.
Drew, in Indonesia there is a former volcanic lake in the island of Sumatra and it's called the Toba Volcano and now it's the biggest volcanic lake, Toba Lake. So I think the volcano erupted during the Dutch or the British occupation of Indonesia and it's kinda of a karma for them for colonizing us
I think you confuse with Tambora eruption (1815). Toba-event was the biggest eruption in human history ca. 75,000 years ago and almost brought humanity to the brink of extinction. It triggered a global volcanic winter where worldwide population of homo sapiens supposedly was reduced to few thousand individuals.
Britain before : Sun never sets on British empire. [A few moments later] Aaaaah Sun, I can't sleep. Britain to others countries : You people independent. Britain : Now sun will set and I can sleep. [A few moments later part 2] Britain : Aaaaah it's raining. Why won't it stop? Why won't sun come out? .... Britain looking at the world map : I know what I have to do.
8:13 India has Hotest Summers in The summer, Summer in Monsoon and fall (Rain in east and west india) and Coldest Winters in Winters now compare this with other nations
8:46 It's not hihihi in meaning hi as hello, it's laughter. For muricans pronounced like "hehehe" Also this comic forseen the future... Today in Warsaw some Russian ambassador got painted with red paint in the face by some Ukrainian refugee reporter.
