Jin has become super assertive, he's the type of person who doesn't let others walk all over him, yet he's very polite and respectful when he calls people out or when he stands up for his rights... I really admire how he can do that in such a dignified fashion. He's also very hard-working and responsible but you wouldn't be able to tell unless you know him, because he comes of as a very humorous and east going person. He's also very adventurous, the type of person who is able to jump into something they don't know anything about, he takes opportunities even if it's a risk... As someone who needs to have a plan, I find that really cool and brave. Jin is also someone who makes other people (no matter their age) feel comfortable around him and gets out of his comfort zone to make them laugh, he's so generous and quick-witted, I believe that's why he's a very entertaining host. He seriously could have his own TV show. :) About his stage presence, I would say other members have more of a strong booming presence, but you can tell when they're tired or not feeling well, but Jin is so consistent, like a steady tree, he's so goofy and playful. He makes small events for fans during concerts too (magic tricks, jokes) and it's just so exciting, so sweet. He makes everything fun.

Jin is famous for always breaking BigHit rules. That's the reason why it was sometimes called JinHit Entertainment 💜👏😂

He actually told them to yell in a deeper tone for the safety of their voices because screaming in a high pitch for a long time will hurt the vocal cords and they might lose their voices the next day. He was actually saying it for their safety.

Jin used to be very self-conscious but as he himself once explained, when he saw the fans' reactions to him blowing kisses (meaning they all went crazy) he started thinking "ah, maybe I really am handsome" and the "worldwide handsome" has become kind of his mantra and an inside joke and he built confidence on something that started off and still is a joke. However the truth stands: he IS handsome :D But he is also waaaay more than that. Talented, funny, great personality... what more do you want, really

Jin is honestly an iconic person, this guy is really smart beyond words. He has made a brand of himself and knows what to do and say at the right time. He was an extremely quiet and introverted person when they debuted but the way he has changed himself completely and gotten so confident over the years is something worth praising. He is the funniest and wittiest member in the group, he also professionally hosts for big award functions in south Korea and always gets praised for doing an amazing job. He is really funny so he always shines when they go on variety shows and the south Korean drama/film industry is dying to cast him but he can't take up any offer because he is busy with bts currently. Hopefully, in the future we will also be able to see actor jin !!!

They have a lot commercials to be honest, Both as a group and individuals. They are officially amabassadors of Hyundai in South Korea, they made commercials for Samsung (the new S20 series) as well as LG, and what I believe to be a cloth brand Lotte Duty Free (which you gotta watch! the commercials and like MVs). If you dig deep enough you're gonna find many adds for Korean brands and even some... Weird ASMR chicken commercial haha

I literally left everything to watch this. 😭💜 Oh, btw BTS has done plenty of commercials. Most of them are too hilarious that fans literally made a whole video of BTS commercial compilation.

Honestly kim seokjin has to be one of the most iconic person in kpop, he has such a unique and charming personality lol

There is a whole video of Jin just rebelling against his company, he is a really polite and respectful guy but these days he doesn’t let people walk over him. This man have transformed himself completely and have become an ICON !!!

08:10 Jin, in my opinion, is the member we know least about. He's actually pretty private. But I think he has mentioned how much he loves steak multiple times and burgers too. Sea food as well. Not sure if he meant his favorite dish in the states or of all time / in general. So there you go.

So glad you chose this introduction series for Jin. The other ones have never really done him justice and haven't explored all sides of this incredible man. I mean the fact it mentioned Jin completing his masters while in BTS and his place in UNICEF honours list shows this person has done their research and is doing their best to encompass all the members fairly. I've seen jin singing epiphany live and I can say for sure that it was the most amazing thing I've heard, and with all of us singing with him the "I'm the one I should love" line, it hits hard

About Jin: He's from a well-off family and he helped BTS a lot when they had nothing (also took kitchen equipment secretly from his house xD ). He was an exchange student in Australia, during his middle school year and he spend his summer vacations playing video games (he is a big gamer). He was more shy, insecure and introverted as a kid, without friends. He tried being more confident with his self thats why he started say things like "wwh". Of course now he is very confident. His favorite food: lobster, meat, Naengmyun (cold noodles), chicken and greasy food. At the beginning, people were hating on his dancing skills, but Jin answered "im sorry, I will work harder"

I think he is very important for the group dynamics. He shows them what is important in life, and a good role modell. He showd the importance of enjoying life and have a horizontal team.

They have been featured in a multitude of glorious commercials, and they've also done skits on their own show, Run BTS. One of the members, V, acts in Hwarang (Korean drama). Him and Jin sang one of the OSTs. I would love to see Jin in a show!

I'm glad you picked this Jin intro than the other ones. I'm not a fan of how the other videos portray Jin. in regards to his eating habit, though it appears that he's "inhaling' his food, he actually has a very sophisticated palette. this kid has described the taste of lamb (if I'm remembering it correctly) by using an analogy of how the lamb was happily running around in the farm (or something similar). he was once tasked to confirm the source of the water they were drinking by just its taste - and he got it right,.

Jin graduated and soon as far as I remember Yoongi is going to graduate too! He's an architect and design major

Jin is crazy smart (watch him compete in RUN episodes). He is also incredibly loving and kind (watch him interact with strangers in Bon Voyage videos). He has a very special relationship with Jungkook and also with Jimin. He is so multi-dimensional and so talented, yet he is actually very humble. Watch videos of Jin doing his fake indignant “yelling.” It is hilarious! Also watch him in the Epiphany video to get just a taste of his acting and voice talent. He’s a sweetheart!

since u might get the wrong idea about jin let me tell u a bit about him , jin just shows his goofy sides to camera but always help others, V said he loves jin the most and he is leader in aspects of life for them, Rm said his great speeches are inspired by jin and jin is bts secret weapon , jk said he needs jin the most in his life, jhope said he is thankful of jin for being there for them, jimin said jin saved him when he had srs problems with anxiety and depression (it was bad) and jin is someone who made more than 100 millions donations secretly and finally ppl knew about it when UNICEF announced him as a member of 'UNICEF Honors Club , he is someone who wore the same clothes as jimin when jimin received deatth threat to confuse the potential attacker , he is the most selfless human I saw. also he joke about his looks cuz he get so much attention for his looks, he was selected as number 1 best sculpted face in the world, #1 worlds best natural art face, best visual of kpop. most handsome man in the world by kings choice and ... and btw he is a troll. let me tell u a fun fact , jin gets really shy when he is the center of attention and his ears will get red red, he just jokes around about his looks cuz he always get attention for his looks but when someone call him handsome srsly he gets shy, for example on his birthday live when fans told him he was selected as the most handsome man in the world by king choice he was so shy and he just said no its too big for me I am just worldwide handsome (as a joke ) lol, btw did I mention he is an extra chaotic troll ??? Jin's humor is sooo much more than dad jokes. Find funny Jin compilations, he will have you thinking he's the maknae(youngest).

BTS' best commercials to date are probably the Puma and Hyundai commercials! All 7 of them, they always do commercials together!

Actually he graduated as an actors..but he take the singing class when he is early 20...so he having a hard time when to singing for the first time bacause singing and actor vibe is very different..but still with his hard working..he became a very good singer😢❤❤love your reaction

jin loves meat dishes a lot, especially seafood lol one thing that i admire about him is his ability to overcome his shy-ness. in bon voyage (a series they do every year where they travel and film everything) as well as in other videos, he'll go out of his comfort zone and talk to people he doesn't know. or sometimes he'll crack jokes to lighten up the mood in a room during interviews and such. he always takes the first step to make sure those around him feel comfortable, and me, being very shy and awkward, admires that about him a lot he can get overlooked or misunderstood by people a lot, which is sad because he's such a hard worker and he's very talented in many ways. he's really just a super nice guy who works hard to perfect his craft and looks out for his younger members and for his fans. anyways, i'm loving your reactions so far! it's a lot of fun getting to know them, so enjoy!

They have done MULTIPLE commercials. There are compilations on YT. Someone once said bts are great at what they do because they are all great performers and actors, not just great at singing/rapping/dancing. And I agree. They portray emotions during their lives very very well! He's the focal character in the Bangtan Universe (BU) or storyline. But till now, Taehyung is the only one who has acted, in a historical drama called Hwarang.

The other video people were talking about portrays Jin as a self-centered person (probably not intentionally, but it does), which couldn't be further from the truth. At least that's what people who aren't very familiar with would interpret that video to mean. I was actually worried you might watch it, but I am glad people told you about it c:

I hardly understand the story line and its been 3 years soooo you got to read the webtoon but I wouldn't bother until you're Familiar with all the songs but knowing the storyline isn't completely nessecery

Seriously this guy is something else. Really selfless, nice human being and 1000% team player. It is a shame that many people really don't understand him at all, only seeing him as jokester who acts silly all the time making every one cringe. In reality he is maybe most wholesome guy in BTS. I can see it very clearly, even if he is not my bias. Truth is Jin never was self absorbed as he loudly and vividly paints himself to be on TV. Handsome joke is funny because how ridiculous it is in comparison with his real personality. For those who cares to find it is known that contrary he literally for a few years after debut acted like he wanna be as invisible as possible. Shy and unconfident even when he looked like he looks. Bloody Handsome that is. His whole behaviour showed it more than anything else. OFC He knew he was handsome, cause he was told from the start "We want you in BTS because you handsome", but it seemed he wasn't comfortable to being just that. A pretty face for commercials and promotion purposes. But that what everyone expected him to be. Jin however worked his ass of to become a asset to the group. It took him years of hard work till his vocal and dancing lessons gave a firsts results. But he never gave up just worked diligently on top all the practice he already had with the rest of BTS. It is weird remembering that young guy who was really handsome, but whose behaviour and attitude shown that he didn't knew what do with it. Being handsome is not exactly talent but a gift. And he was surrounded by members who were picked for their skills like dancing, singing, rapping. He felt like he was lacking and it was obvious to everyone. Whole Handsome thing started as a joke to entertain others. What you have to understand about Jin character is that he is really responsible guy, who takes his role as oldest really seriously even when it seems to be opposite from a first glance. So back then he seen that as a group BTS was struggling on tv apearences they were on. Struggling to relax and be themselves on camera, which made them sometimes look stif and uncharismatic on screen. I was a problem. But once he did something silly at one of those apearences and other members sudently relaxed and shooting was smoth and entertaining. It was like "Eureka!" moment for him. From that point he started to do jokes as a break an ice on tv apearences, acting extra, basicly playing a joke character. No one told him to do that. He just did it without explaning anything to anyone. BTS members were puzzled, ARMY was entertained but puzzled by sudden change too. Knowing his that time character it was a hard role to do. He was embarrassed to do so, it was hard for him to step into spotlight and make people laugh. Always getting his ears bloody red from embarrassment all that just to make it easier for other BTS members who were stiff and couldn't relax. There was a price to pay too. Many people didn't laughed with him but started laugh at him instead and treat him like a dumb blond character. But he did it for them all. He took one for his team. Only after years it was exposed as side story when he tryed to tell ARMY how greatfull he was for ARMY who gave him his confidence. He talked how doing all those things changed him and made him actually find his confidence and come to terms with himself. More brazenly be talked about being confident in his looks and seeing people positive, affirmative reactions, more his attitude towards himself changed too and he learned to love himself more as he is. He is the guy who silently without asking for praises for years works in hotel rooms after all practices already done just to better himself. He is the guy who decided to purposely sacrifice his born with authority as eldest of the team by being a chill guy of the group instead, who acts anti korean social norms about superiority related to age and lets a lot of things slide, act like they all are on same lvl. He is done so purposely, so that there would be no clash of authority in a group and RM who is younger than him but was picked as group leader could do his role properly. He is a guy who sneaked food from his parents house to the dorm when they were out of funds, he is a guy who every day driven JK to school, he is a guy who cooked their meals. He is a guy who just takes care and sacrifice for people who are important to him without asking for praise or something in return. Can't respect that guy more than i already do. He is a rarity. Not saying that he is perfect, cause he is one of the biggest dorks i ever seen, who can be a real man-child and annoying af too. But basically he is a man every mom wants her daughter to bring home one day. Cause despite his shortcomings he still is a kind friend who will asks you if you need money, when he knows you in tough spot financially instead of acting like most friends who would rather avoid you at that time instead of offering helping hand. He is thoughtful, smart, overwhelmingly respectful to everyone, guy who will pick a phone in a middle of the night even when person who is calling is half a world away. Do i even need you mention how handsome and well built he is?😅 Add too the mix him being dedicated, hard working, talented, business savy, rich. And you have a guy that is hard to say "No" to. But unlucky for us all there is only a limited edition of men like this available worldwide. What a shame. 🤷

Oh they have a lot of commercials Jin didn’t ask to call him Seokjin Oppa in low tone just to command his fans or for them to stand out. He asked that so Armys (fans) wont lose their voice from screaming He put a lot of food in his mouth because he set a challenge to do it in one minute NOT because he’s hungry. He holds his own show EAT JIN so he was keeping the show entertaining. Kpop Idols or Korean Pop superstars often changes hair color and hairstyle. That’s part of Kpop Culture. Sometimes it best to finish the clip before making comments. But You’re alright. You’ll get better.

26:50 listen, we ARMYs can identify a bts song just by its first two seconds. I'm not exaggerating because there are videos called "Guess the BTS song in 2 seconds" or 5 seconds or even 1 second, and I passed it (there's just that problem of "I know song but I don't know song name" )

Seokjin is the most beautiful human I've even known. He's got an awesome personally, really talented, and the amount of hardwork he has put in to get him to where he is now is truly inspiring. He was the reason I became an ARMY, something about is playful character just draws you in. His songs AWAKE is the soundtrack of my life and EPIPHANY is the reason I am alive and am now learning how to Love Myself. I love the other members too, but JiN will always have a special place in my heart. JiN is my ANPANMAN!

Our Jin is actually very shy. His "world wide handsome" and all those beautiful/handsome thing is like a running joke or a cynical thing. He always want us to love ourselves and be confident and comfortable in our own bodies ans love ourselves regardless, but he doesn't actually think he's the most handsome man o the only pretty one in the group. In the part of the video where Jin is playing the guitar, the acoustic version of "Butterfly", the one sitting on the couch with the phone, Jimin, is actually the one singing the song while Jin plays. It's just hard to tell because of the phone hiding his face.

I absolutely love Jins humor! Besides just puns, dad jokes and running gags, he has some really funny lines that seem like fake subs but aren't, like 'I don't have think' (he wasn't that good in english at the time but it's still funny), 'keep talking, maybe you'll someday say something intelligent', 'pipe down you non-artists' (talking to one of the biggest bands in the world) and so on. If you ever see a video of BTS things that seem like fake subtitles but aren't, Jin is almost guaranteed to be in most of them

I just wanted to inform you that the song that Jin sung at the end is a solo song from a bts album. Every member usually will have a solo song on any album. The rappers are the only ones who have content that is officially solo. All the vocalists have solo songs on group albums.

bts did various commercials before, you can check out Puma (although the contract ended and now they are Fila's ambassador), Lotte Duty Free, Hyundai... these are some of the army's favourite commercial. Also, they did a collaboration with LINE friends and they launched a series of LINE characters that were designed by BTS members, you can search up BTS BT21 and you'll be able to check out the entire creative process, it was very fun and awesome :D

btw bts was on the cover of time magazine as one of the most influential artists!!

Some people say to watch the MVs first then the theory vids. In MY opinion you should watch the theory vids by xCeleste first then the MVs. Of course you won't get the theory vid but when you watch the MVs you'll catch the storyline quicker. Again, IN MY OPINION. Because you'll know what's important in the MVs and not just random.

Jin is athletic & very competitive. He is also mentally strongest. He received the most hate yet he still stand tall and strong. This rubs off on the other members. They said if Jin can do it (weather the negativity), we can too.

jin literally was street casted cuz he is handsome and not just once even before other big agency like SM street casted him but he thought its a scam and didnt take it srs, he already got so many offers for acting but the company still refuse them all, they are very very busy their schedule doesnt let him to act, he is acting major to be specific he graduated from a high profile university with low rate acceptance and he even got early acceptance and now he is getting his masters, dont just look at his goofy persona , he always say he doesnt want to show his weakness or his bad sides to fans so he just goof around a lot but he is SMART, all the boys are very talented and unique but tbh jin and jhope are hardest to get cuz they dont show that much of themselves on camera.

this wasn't in this video but an older one, but there was a joke jin made that went like "what is it called when a cow sings?" "a lawsuit". that is because cow in korean is pronounced "so", and a lawsuit in korean is pronounced "sosong". so a cow singing is a "so" (cow) song.
