THE SERIES FINALE OF MY INTRODUCTION TO BTS - EPISODE 8: JUNGKOOK

Bang pd is the ceo of BigHit Jungkook was the only one in the competition called superstark when he was 13 which is basically a competition for singing for idols in training and he was eliminated but he still got a lot of offers from a bunch of different companies but he chose BigHit because he saw a video of Namjoon rapping and thought he was cool so he wanted to join his company. When they were all crying together it was because Jungkook doesn’t often share his emotions but one day he started crying and said that the only difficulties that he has is seeing his hyungs (older brothers or male friends in Korea) having a hard time. Yes the Golden maknae is his nickname because he is a jack of all trades, he is a very famous maknae in the kpop industry for being very multitalented.

He is called the golden maknae because he is good at LITERALLY everything. Jungkook is known for being good at things at the first try, so all members agree he has potential in everything

YOU DO NOT NEED A BIAS!!! (Sorry, I just don't like this pressure to pick a bias). V said BTS is 7 members and he hopes everyone would love all 7. OT7 forever! Thank you for giving some attention to BTS. If you know anyone in radio though... we are still having trouble getting airplay... why??? Well... we still need to change some perceptions I guess. JK has his own video series GCF. They allow all the guys to pursue whatever they want. He’s also in the process of making his mixtape, which apparently is done but he believes isn’t perfect, thus why he doesn’t releases it. RM and Suga told him to just release it, because the creator never thinks they’re perfect. On the subject of working on becoming better, JK is naturally good at many things, which makes him be “lazy” about them. He’s not lazy at all, what I mean is that he can do easily what takes someone else hours of work to do. That also makes him get bored of things easily. However, he’s very true to his craft. He even went back to find a new vocal coach to teach him different techniques of singing. The result is that beautiful bridge in ON.

They choose whatever they feel comfortable wearing, I mean Taehyung has danced in flip flops so

JK is the baby of the group. He gets spoiled by his elder brothers (other members of the group, aka his hyungs) especially Jin. Jin used to pack his lunches and drive him to school.

JK is the well rounded good at almost everything, and can do just about anything. He is also our little daredevil, he seems fearless, except around girls and microwaves.

Jungkook tries to hide his tears but when it comes to his members he just can’t hold back🥺 like in begin he’s kind of getting at how his Hyungs are his other half

Guys wear anything they want. You can see them practicing even in timberlands... How are they still able to dance in them I have no idea. Fun fact - we joke about V hating on shoes because he often throws his shoes away and stay barefooted or dance in slippers. Like recently on Corden stay-home show

While he is described as being good at a lot of things, I know that he has expressed that it is a lot of pressure on him so I hope that someday we can let go of that description so he doesn’t feel like he has to live up to that perfect image to the point where it’s unhealthy (we’ve seen the outcome of that pressure in the behind the scenes of their wings tour and love yourself tour)

Jungkook hasn't direct a mv yet but he has a series of videos called GCFs that feature the members, they are kinda like "behind the scenes" of their schedules and also promoting some of their merchandising like summer package and winter package

Jeongguk's personality isn't competitive but it also doesn't allow him to lose so once he puts his mind to something, anything he will get it done. He sets reasonable goals for himself and slowly works towards them. For example, he told us a few years ago he wanted to learn English so he could help RM during English interviews. This past year that came to fruition, he worked so hard at studying English that Jeongguk can now answer interview questions with full sentences without help and I'm just so proud of him. He is Golden Maknae because he is good at a little bit of everything not because of an expectation placed on him, I hope this helps =)

Bang PD aka Hitman Bang is BigHit's CEO and one of their producers. He's really close with the group, so is the rest of the company. And yes, Golden Maknae is one of if not his most iconic nickname. The talented youngest.

Jungkook is the Golden Maknae (youngest in Korean) and that nick name was given by RM because JK can do everything hence the Jack of All Trade!! 😭👍💜 You can see all the characteristics of all the other members in him so when his hyungs (older bros/related & not related referring to an older close male friends) are having a hard time, that's when he's having a hard time. 😭💜

RM gave Jungkook the nickname Golden Makena because of how good he was a rapping, singing, dancing. HE is also good at Composing, Producing, Video Editing, Photography, Video recording, Drawing, Painting, Sports, Archery, and Video gaming just to add a few more. An example of his Producing and composing skills can be sampled in BTS song Magic Shop

Fun fact, Jungkook’s solo song “Euphoria” was actually in one of the episodes of the tv show “Euphoria” :).

bang pd is the ceo , as you saw in the series bts took auditions to enter the group , only jin get scouted ,and jk choose bh after he's participation on superstar k (korean competition show and he got eliminated early but he got many offer from many companies including big companies but he saw RM video so he choose BH) they trained for 3years with other trainees but only BTS members got selected to be part of the group , not all the trainee make it to the final line after their debut BTS get struggled so much till their hit song on 2015 to start gain so many fans and still struggles SO MUCH till 2016 when they get their international fame, their biggest hit BS&t song and won artist of the year and album of their for the first time , so it was hard time for them and for the fans , you need to see more videos as BTS from nobodies to legends and BTS hardships (they are all under the same channel on yt ) to get to know why they cried and struggled

Jungkook has a lot of responsibilities in the group. He is main vocalist, lead dancer,center of dance formation. And sub rapper.

Well, JK is a Jack of all trades. He is good at everything, quite literally. He is good at everything he touches, whatever he sets his mind to he can accomplish. He can sing, rap, dance, he is good at sports, athletics, painting, video shooting and editing (see GCF on BTS' channel), gaming, he also produces and writes songs, he's been learning English and has recently gotten sooo good at it, too... He is very competitive and hates to lose :D But he is also very sweet and honest. He loves the boys very much and cares deeply about ARMY. He only really cries and gets emotional when it comes to ARMY, as you can see in the video, reading his letter to army. He's written letters sinc then, and cried again. He even once shared this moment with us, in the latest tour, a concert in Seoul, where he said he ripped his pants during Mic Drop Performance and that he could feel breeze on his buttocks. While the others giggled and thought that might've been a TMI, he claimed that it's okay, that army is family, after all. Basically, we don't deserve him.

long ass hell comment here so I'm warning ya baby ARMY: 💜💜💜 hello I hope your days go well 💜💜💜 So to answer some questions: Bang Pd is the CEO and one of their producer. He is hella good songwritter and producer, he did a lot for other artist before starting BigHit. There are a lot of interviews where he speaks about how he wished to created something different from other groups because there are talented kids but they are being used by the media. He said that he lets BTS fight with each other and be themselves so they can connect with people and learn to be better people. btw he also said like if like 2 members fight for something all 7 of them must find solutions thats why BTS and BigHit are like family, they talk things, help each other, discuss and have fun together. The group was emotional and crying because kookie used to be a really prideful boy, so when they were in a meeting or discussing goals or something, he opened up to them. Normally people don't even talk to their parents about deep thougths, so kookie talking to them about his feelings was something big for all of them. As you noticed watching all the introductions, the boys were scouted, participated in casting and events like that. For kookie, he participated in Superstar K that is like an American Idol, The X Factor but for Korea. There are a lot of TV Shows where people can audition, it goes from singing, dancing, rapping, etc. So he auditioned but he didn't pass however he was really so talented that a lot of companies tried to get him. ummm for the shoes don't mind them that much lol they practice with whatever from boots, sneakers, converse, vans, slippers blah blah blah there is actually an iconic video of V dancing with heels and killing it. Kookie is soooo good at edits!!! He films a lot when they go travel!! I think ARMY is just waiting for the day Kookie gets so much better that he gets to be like their director for a video or something!! you can watch his work in the BangtanTV channel under G.C.F. there is a playlist. Just to remind you that Korea has a different age system, so when they all say kookie is 15 for us he is 13 years old. So when they debut in 2013 he was a literal child. I hope this help you some! The song at the beginning of the video is called Begin. It's JK's solo song in their album Wings. It's dedicated to the other members. Fun fact, JK's solo Euphoria from their album Love Yourself: Answer actually played in the background of one of the episodes of the series Euphoria... 🤣

FIRST: Bang PD is the CEO of the agency where BTS belongs to. 2ND: He joined the competition before he entered BTS. He was eliminated before the show was on TV so no one saw him on TV. But even in the audition room, produers already noticed him and offered him a trainee position but he chose Bighit (BTS' agency) and eventually became part of BTS.

as a long time kpop fan, I always wondered why new kpop fans find things like this super deep and touching. i dont mean to say their relationships and interactions arent sweet & touching, I just think how their relationships are viewed is a bit of a cultural difference. from what I've seen with all the kpop groups I like, physical and emotional love between friends is more commonly seen out in the open/talked about more, as opposed to western culture where people tend to keep actions & words like that suppressed. this doesn't have much to do with bts specifically, just something small I noticed lol

i think the shoes they wear both hav to do with comfort and style/trend. in the early days they wore a lot of vans, then it switched to converse, around 2016 a lot of them started dancing in timberlands (super heavy shoes, idk how they did it), and now some of them even dance in slippers or barefoot. so it really just depends on the member and their style/comfort

But they are all fashion icons, including their kicks/footwear and are known for making the shoes they wear, or sunglasses, or shirts or ANYTHING they wear sell out in an instant around the Globe 🌍 !!!

Hey Fabrizio, I know I might be a bit late to comment, but I wanted to put my thoughts out there. I just wanted to say that the meaning you pull out of the songs are so great, but I do wanna point out that they do like a lot of direct storytelling, like putting their life in song or rap form. There doesn't necessarily always have to be a deeper meaning. Usually when things like in that song 'Begin' which were the first words in this video, or in songs the Suga has especially, a lot of them like to do storytelling, most of the times when they really go deep, and really go within the song and into the inner depths of your mind is when they are starting to use idioms, references to certain parts of cultures, novels, poetry, and creative wordplay, then it's easy to detect when the lyrics with deeper and very thorough meaning are at. Of course all their lyrics are not to be taken granted, but there are lyrics that are meant (at least to them) to be taken bluntly as a sort of, life storytelling maneuver (If that term exists) rather than something that makes you curious as to what is the inner story. But I really wanna praise you for going so far as to take your time, to pause, and try to elaborate what you're getting at, and that is why I do try to look forward to your videos as much as I can. Again, late comment, but still, if I could, I'll say that I love your videos and hope you continue. edit: Also, I really like the idea with Jungkook and His videography interests, I would really wanna see a jungkook-produced video. Sadly I don't think right now that's really possible due to their time constraints and whenever they get to do things on their own they truly want their time out. I do hope someday when they have a little bit more time on their hands Jungkook gets to do something like this with the members and with BigHit's approval of course. They've already approved his GCF videos (Golden Closet Films, which are basically beautiful vlogs/timelapses of their trips around different places.) so why not another thing?

I want to just thank you for making this videos, I'm really happy that suddenly found your video, cuz there're a lot of people, who react to various videos of bts and not only them but not a lot of them speak their mind out. And apart from the video it's also very interesting to listen to your thoughts/stories. So, thank you c: And about that "bias system". It's not necessarily to choose someone in any k-pop group, at least for me it feels like making only one person stand out. Rather than picking a bias just treat all members equally. I mean, of course, there're some members, who you can relate to or who you find similar to yourself, your personality but "bias system" is just really downplaying others

*Army correct me if I'm mistaken* Jungkook hinted of his own album making like 2 years ago. But recently it's been brought up if he be releasing it anytime soon. But he said he got it all done he just wants to rerun it again. Which makes me really sad that he can't seems to get satisfied with his work. The song called *Decalcomania* is only a snippet of a song he produced and it's only just over a minute long and released about a year ago. A beautiful song. I had it on repeat for a while now to help me reach sleep and study.

Whenever the members mention “Bang PD” (Full name Bang Si Hyuk) that is the CEO of BigHit Entertainment. He’s also a producer so you’ll often see the members say “Bang PD/Bang PDnim”. PD stands for producer.

Thanx for sharing your journey of discovering BTS with us 💜 Ha that emotional story about how JK choose Big Hit cause he wanted to meet RM and work with him. 😭 And then of course we learned that first time he actually met him , RM was only wearing underwears. 😂 Those boys 😂 On a more serious tone, seeing the évolution of JK is one of the many things that convinces me that they're all amazing and nice ppl. Of course his parents did already very well raising him, but it's clear he found also a real family with the 6 others and was able to grow up in a good environment despite the crazy life they have. Actually JK is the most fav in BTS because he is really amazing, the reason why he gets so much hate is because those who are a solo stan want their bias to be on top,. w/c is very wrong, when I say he's the most favorite it doesnt mean he's the star of the group, all the 7 members are different on their own way and all of them shines, it just that the way how you pick your fav is on how you can relate to them or if you have similar personalities..and BTS has a lot of young fans w/c makes JK popular and even always in the center on their dance.. and his other members don't complain for that Only those not a real army are making conclusions and those bashers trying to split the group.. Most (if not all of their) albums has at least one song written for ARMY. Map of the Soul 7 has Moon and We are Bulletproof:Eternal as the two newest ones. Make it Right which was from the Persona album was written for ARMY.
