I'm watching this May 2. I'm so sorry I missed the community Zoom meeting. I think we keep trying products we know by experience don't work for us because we want the anti aging results we see mature skinned women have gotten. We really do have to accept what works and what doesn't, and aging imperfections we don't like. It definitely is a process. I appreciate you, Michelle. Your authenticity, transparency and great sense of humor!
OMG I'M SO SORRY I MISSED THE LIVE COMMUNITY ZOOM! I love that you continue to keep it real Michelle! I'll watch for the next live zoom! YOU are the best! ❤
Hi Michelle! This is Marcy. Had a great time last night; thanks for inviting me to the conversation. The makeup history lesson was fascinating! Looking forward to more of the same. Contour and bronzing has always been confusing for me, do we need both, what colors or formulas should we use, etc. This was helpful, thanks so much!
It was so good seeing your beautiful face, Marcey! I agree, the makeup history is fascinating! I almost fell out of my chair when she broke out the Avon sample lipsticks from the 1930s
Thank you so much for this! I have tried contouring & didn't think it looked good on me. 48 yr old light skinned redhead(now more strawberry blonde). Started using seint last year & I love it. Going to try ash with your tips.
That's amazing congratulations on the 100K! I'm so bummed I missed the Zoom last night, but super excited about the live UTubes. Thank you for doing this video on placement for contour / bronzetour I was not doing right..lol Did my first Mandelic 40 peel over the weekend and my skin is baby soft and it did slightly lighten my sunspots. I really cannot thank you enough for helping us mature women with great tutorials & a ton of education. Sending prayers out to Jenn, Marshall and their family.
Congrats on 1000k!! I love how real you are. I truly do. It was refreshing to hear what you said about social media compared to real life looks. As always I learned so much. Prayers being said.
Thank you Michelle ❤️🥰 I just learned SO much that I was missing thru this video & why my contour isn't turning out right! Wish I'd been home earlier to go on zoom with you all! Luv you, I'll pray for Jen's husband for sure & I'm praying for you too always 🙏❤️ God sure is blessing you & I'm SO proud of you!! He loves His children SO so much!! Yay 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for this video - so helpful. I have two long-time favourite eyeshadow primers. Too Faced 'Shadow Insurance' is one and the other is Elizabeth Mott's 'Thank Me Later' - I find them equally good and, for me, they outperform every other brand that I've tried (and I've spent a good amount trying all sorts of brands - expensive business is makeup/beauty!)
I’m so sorry about your bad Tretinoin experiences! My dermatologist recommended it for me and I have been trying it over the past several months. I have very sensitive skin and I am allergic to everything, and I was expecting it to mess me up, but I have been very, very surprised that I’ve been doing OK with it. What I cannot use and I don’t understand why is the first aid beauty pads with glycolic and lactic acid. They kill my face. I even tried using it on my arms instead and I got hives! Go figure!?😮 so now I am terrified of any kind of exfoliant! And yes, the warm purples look absolutely amazing on you!❤
Congrats on the 100k!! I really need contour for the under chin and jowls! Sometimes it's hard to blend it enough without keeping the shadow you need! Sorry I missed the zoom! I hope to make it next time! Thanks Michelle ❤
Big Congratulations on 100K 🎉🥳🎉 So well deserved for all your dedication and hard work! Yay an eye shadow for our flow season. Not to mention I think it will go well with my green eyes 😊 Now I think I might be ready for some contour after I have played a bit. Have a great day 💓Take care
I've been contouring the side of my nostrils too Lol ☺️ I really don't watch technique videos. I like to observe my face and take an intuitive approach. I've been watching a lot of what I've been already doing for years recently in the media and it blows my mind because I'm not a professional make-up artist.
Bummed I missed your zoom, that would have been fun. Congrats on your 100k subscribers plaque!! Also, I would love to know the Lashify gossamers you're wearing in this video. Are they Starburst? I've started wearing Lashify because of you and love them!!
No way, Sonya, we call them gurlges too! Hilarious! I don’t feel so alone now. Isn’t it great when we share things about ourselves only to find out that it’s not as rare as we thought???
I missed the zoom because I couldn't get the link to work!!! Next time I will have link sent to email instead of text. Maybe I can get it to work. I am not very techie; lol.Bet you all had a nice time.
Michelle, CONGRATULATIONS on 100,000 subscribers!!!!!! Do we email you for a color match? Also, I've never contoured and I'm 52. I'm wondering if I should start? Lol. I don't expect you to answer that. LOL
I used that Too Faced eye primer, which was in a tube, for years and loved it. Then they went to using the wand for application. I (and thousands of others) hate that wand thing. It just doesn’t allow for a smooth application and you can’t get all the product out as it’s running out. 😥 The product overall ratings have dropped a lot, all due to that awful wand issue. Time will tell if they change it back to tube. I’ve had to purchase a different brand (that I really don’t like as well; Too Faced was so good) and won’t go back unless Too Faced puts the eye primer back in a tube.
Congrats on 100k. I learn so much from you. Question. Isn’t contour and bronzer kinda the same thing? I guess I don’t get what the difference is. I have Bella which I’ll use but it’s turning orange on me now for some reason so I started using the contour you suggested for me now as a bronzer which seems to work better.
Contour is meant to recede, cast a shadow, bronzer is just to warm skin. Then there is “brontour” which is using a warm bronzer color to contour instead, and it can be a little bit more flattering
Michelle, I had a few mature makeup questions….I am getting gray hairs in my brows - how do I camouflage them. Also, are there any blurring products you can recommend for the neck? I loved tonight’s video - I had just placed my order for olive this morning based on what you color matched me with. ❤
@@maturemakeupmasterclass yes, I got the link. Just had something come up and missed it 🥺 On Sunday evening, heavy storms, high winds, and a tornado came through our area and our home that we have leased out, had some damage. My husband has spent the last 2 days on cleaning up/repairing the damage. He came in, dirty, hungry, and tired, just about the time the zoom was starting. So I missed it.
I've recently discovered your videos!!! I'm 52 and LOVE them! Would you ever consider letting me send you a pic for contour advice? I'm blessed w smooth skin, but very pinky and a fuller face
