Thank you for explaining the wash paint for the hair I was wracking my brain trying to use the drucchi violet I have out of the pot now Ill just thin it down. and I was trying to edge highlight the hair too now I can just dry brush and save me some time.
awesome stuff man! would love to see how contrast goes over a malifaux mini... dealers choice of which one or faction, just starting up 3rd edition with some locals and any tutorials would be helpful! thanks for the other great content you make!
Thank you very much! Recording a Malifaux tutorial is tricky as there's not a squad to practice on first and I kind of just wing it! But on the upside if you check out our batreps or instagram for the malifaux stuff, everything is painted using contrast and drybrushing.
Thanks for keeping the number of paints required to a minimum because omg, I hate when these tutorials suggest a $7 pot of citadel paint for like, highlighting some boots or something. Lmao.
@@tabletopandgaming Same here! Don’t get me wrong. I love watching the tutorials but recently I watched a tutorial on Ogroid Thaumaturge that ended up being so many paints the guy should have said “before we begin, buy $300-$400 worth of citadel paint”. Lmao! I just purchased a whole range of the contrast paints because I’m just trying to do simple work for my board gaming miniatures(hence how I found your video). Consequently if you can do a simple tutorial of Ogroid Thamaturge that is NOT massively detailed using primarily contrast paints, omg I would love that. lol!
Damn I just googled that model and it's stunning - alas I have not great tips for doing it other than 'airbrush the skin to do 90% of the work then contrast the rest' :D best of luck!!
