A question that often comes up since Contrave is made up of 2 older medications, bupropion and naltrexone, is can someone take the ingredients separately? Contrave can be very expensive and is often not covered by drug insurance, and some patients may already be stable on bupropion or naltrexone alone and don’t want to mess up that stability.
So, is there a best way to go?
