1) What have been some of your most prized possessions? How/why did they become so prized? What has come of them - are they stored away, on display, faded away, etc…?
2) Verse 21 says that your treasures reveal your heart. What do your treasures reveal about your heart?
3) What are some treasures that people have given you that you think are probably treasures stored up in heaven? How do you think those treasures might live past this temporal life (i.e. in heaven)?
4) Take question #3 and reverse it. What might people say are treasures you have given them that are stored up in heaven?
5) Are you challenged by this text about passions? If so, how?
