People have been gambling on games before sports betting because legal a few years ago, sir. There is even MORE incentive for them to rig games if there’s the black market. Making gambling illegal again will make the problem even worse, you’re stupid.
Dan Campbell is the real one to blame everyone and there mother heard the ref call 70 as the eligible receiver over the loud speaker guess who admitted to hearing it Dan Campbell as well as the entire lions team and not one of them corrected it they had plenty of time to do so but they didn’t correct the mistake that’s on them the rules are the rules you can’t have a ineligible receiver touch the football without it first being announced to both teams before the play begins lmfao DAN CAMBELL SCREWED YOU
When a lineman becomes eligible an announcement is made to the entire stadium “number xx has reported as eligible.” *No announcement was made about #68, so how tf did #68 think he was eligible?* No rigging, Lions players and staff are just dumb
@@haydenmalesky2518 A player talking and ref hearing him aren’t the same thing. If you are a player don’t assume ref heard you. When the announcement didn’t include #68 as eligible then it should have been obvious to the player and his team that ref didn’t hear him
@@logical_lb3059 You just proved my point, the ref should have made sure and confirmed who and what was said. There were two players standing next to the ref.
@mike21jenkins buddy it's not a penalty lol watch th3 reply no one covered him and the reff fixed it for cowboys to win and im not even a fan of both teams NFL owners got involved and are going after them for fixing this game
I’ve been watching the nfl for 25 years. I remember watching games as a young child. I looked up to the players and the establishment . The past couple years you can see the shift. This game is no longer played fair. Whoever is calling the shots knows when to exact these calls. Legal gambling has ruined this sport.
@@MrRedHotChiliMan Coaches get pissed all the time. See Andy Reid. Campbell is already volatile. How do you know 70 did not say anything? That’s why I’m wondering where the audio is
@@MrRedHotChiliMan Ok and I can say #68 licks penis that doesn’t make it true. Maybe coach told him the wrong thing 🤷♂️ You’re so set on one story when multiple factors are in play. And there were still three dudes rushing the ref as well
This is disgusting. All refs involved in this decision need to be fined and benched for the remainder of the season. A missed call here and there is understandable but making a bs call to cost a team a victory is unacceptable
@@soldier3335the call did not come from the top. The ref heard the player say he was eligible but did not tell the cowboys. It was clearly an on field issue

I mean no one has been screwed more than the lions. There’s plenty of videos on the subject. We have always gotten fuck@d. Hell, just look at the last time we played in Dallas in the playoffs. NFL still hasn’t explained that one.
I know people that have played in the NFL and the NBA and they've told me stories about their leagues that people won't even believe. Of course the NFL is fixed it's called the national fixed league . I'm really careful when betting because anything involving money can be corrupted.
Looks like the ref is deliberately walking away early, to avoid being reported to, he knows what is coming, and is in jone's pocket. He was informed of the plays in pregame.
Lions should have never had the ball. A tripping penalty was called on Dallas which caused them to punt. Hendershot (on Dallas) was ACTUALLY the VICTIM on the trip. They called tripping on the WRONG team! Giving Lions the ball.
There’s nothing controversial except the fact this referee isn’t without a job this morning. This could cost the lions everything. How do you not see a 300 pound lineman in front of you reporting? If the ref couldn’t see him that should bring up an even bigger issue. Either way this is probably not the job for him.
Yeah the ref just blew the call. Lions were lined up perfectly for Taylor deckor to be the reciever. Its not even possible for skipper to be eligible being where he lined up. If you understand football its pretty apparent either A the ref reported 70 when he should have reported 68 or a lions player reported when he shouldn't have. I find the players skrewing up something they prectice every week unlikely. NFL thinks were stupid. I will quit watching completely if nothing comes from this. Horrible just horrible.
Look crazy people. They called tripping on the Cowboys with 2:00 minutes to go, and it was tripping on number 97 Hutchinson, not the Cowboys. It should have been 1st and 10 at the 7 yard line. That lions drive should have never been. So stop. The NFL already reported it. 97 purposely tripped the Dallas lineman but what do I know🤣
@@King-sm4tg Also, in the case of #68, and I fault the announcers for missing this, the formation made him ineligible even if he did report as eligible. The end was covering him on the line so he couldn't have legally caught the pass anyway. The end needed to be at least 1 yard behind the tackle in order to make him eligible. Didn't happen.
Honestly, I think the ref screwed up and reported 70 to the def and not 68. There was also the BS tripping call on Dallas. Bad calls are a part of football.
Taylor Decker NEEDED to do the belly rub, and hold up his arm. that lets the ref know "i am reporting as eligible.". He did not. Telling the ref is not good enough. he must do the belly rub and hold up his arm.
Has to be visual as well as telling the ref he never rubbed his stomach. The ref announced #70 and the Lions also could have corrected it before they snapped. #68 also lined up illegally when they motioned so it would have been a penalty regardless.
This is BEYOND RIDICULOUS! I mean it's like they're not even trying to hide the fact that the refs are controlling the outcomes of games today!!!!! I know that there are gonna be aa few bad calls here and there.... but THIS IS DISGUSTING TO DO TO ANY TEAM!
@@DaMostHatedCowboyLmao why do you think you always win at home then proceed to get your asses kicked in the playoffs? Just by chance? No. It's because the cowboys get gifted wins at home then unfortunately for them they don't get that same luxury in the playoffs and it shows. Every single year.
This referee decided his integrity and being looked at as an honest man was worth less than his bets that he had in on this game. Then when confronted with the video footage evidence showing #68 reporting, he doubled down blaming the player for not reporting. The nfl should be embarrassed by this crews actions!
It's not about the officials knowing about the play. It's about the officials knowing about the pre-snap effort to confuse the Cowboys as to which of three different linemen were reporting as eligible. The Lions haven't said that they reviewed the pre-snap shell game with the officials. So we asked Blandino if, in his experience, officials would ever go along with an effort by a team to confuse the defense as to which lineman will be eligible. "If a coach told officials that, the officials would tell them they couldn’t do it," Blandino said. "The referee would never go along with that and would make sure the defense knew exactly who was reporting." In other words, the insistence that coach Dan Campbell went over the play with the officials doesn't matter. The problem arose from what happened before the play. And the Lions surely did not try to share that part of the plan with officials.
3 players walk over to report 1 as eligible. All game 70 comes in to report as eligible and on the play he's running to the Ref. Thing is the Ref on the play runs to the Cowboys and announced 70 as eligible. At that point 70 is the only lineman allowed to run a pass route. At a minimum that a do over instead of 2 penalties against Detroit. Since the play wasn't reviewable you have to enforce a penalty.
@@youdontknowme2915 Why did the ref run away like he already knew the fix was in. The other players are there to confuse the defense. Do you even watch football?
@youdontknowme2915 You can't report what you pull out of your ass. You have to report the registering player. Did you watch the game on a TV made after 1980.
@@nick-hu1nx most penalized team in the league in general, being at home means that doesn’t apply here. They’re 2-5 on the road. The blown holding call on cedees touchdown would’ve brought it back and cowboys would’ve never had the lead if you want to play the what if game.
@@spencerearl9964 holding is not a penalty anymore in the NFL cause if you are going to call that one, you need to call the 10 on micah. not to mention there were more holding calls missed than just that one on the cowboys.
@@nick-hu1nx there were calls missed on both sides, that was the entire point of my statement. You can’t say that the tripping call should’ve ended the game, when there were missed calls before that that would’ve changed the outcome.
Troy says you only do that if you're reporting. Why were THREE of them going to Allen? No, the Lions were attempting CONFUSION. Well, they got it, just not the confusion they wanted. Quit being so secretive about something that can't be a secret anyway.
Well since it was Jimmy Johnson's introduction they had to make sure the cowboys won. You have to understand that there's a game within a game and the refs play it
I'm a Cowboys fan, and when Jimmy said, "I only have a few more words to say." Instead of saying, "How About Them Cowboys!" He should've said, "Fuck You Jerry!!!" He's the reason why the Cowboys won 3 Super Bowls in the 90's. Too bad Jones ego got in the way of success. The Cowboys could've won at least 2 more Super Bowls with that team.
The ref in the booth also said 68 was ineligible because he's uncovered on the formation. So even if he did report, he's still lined up wrong on the formation.

Decker didn’t do the signal for eligible and 3 guys went up to the refs make your intentions clear with only the lineman that is reporting goes up to him and do the signal (wiping your hands down your chest, so that everyone in America can see). There’s a reason there are hand signals it’s so mistakes happen less when you have 3 guys go up to talk to the ref it’s confusing
This needs to be an uproar every time this ref shows up to ref a game. It's obvious he has a chosen winner already decided. Decker reported. He clearly wasn't talking to the ref about his dinner plans.
Arrogant ref wouldn't listen to Coach, but Coach Campbell admitted post game he didn't know that more than 1 player could be eligible, so he probably quit arguing when the Ref told him that #70 was reported eligible. He got that defeated look on his face and walked away from the Refs thinking that #70 shouldn't have reported. Amazing that all the years in the game and he doesn't know the rule. I wanted Lions to get the 2 and win so no bias here either
The refs announced to the stadium that 70 was eligible which is why Dallas didn't cover 68. There were 3 possible penalties on this play; illegal touching, ineligible down field and illegal formation.
Refs screwed Lions. But why tf would you go for 2 again instead of a PAT. And then run a 2 yard play where you catch it and arent even in the endzone. Lions also screwed themselves

The league owes it to the fans to investigate how this happened. They will spend five minutes reviewing a play to see if a pass was completed, but in a play involving a potential game winning play, it is not reviewable. Teams should be allowed to throw the red flag on questionable penalties.
Lions got cute tried too hide who was eligible, I was at the game, number 70 was eligible a number of times during the game. He walked up to the ref as did two other players shown on video to confused the cowboys. You can see the ref points at number 70 as he’s coming towards him and runs off and never acknowledges number 68. So lots of blame to go around, lions tried to get sneaky and confused the ref instead
Yeah commenting late, but the ref suppose to announce the player and number reporting on mic so every body knows who's egible, he never did. We don't know who told the ref what. We just seen number 70 running on field and two other player by the ref, then seen him running off.
@@briamelancon575I was at the game he did announce #70 loud and clear he was doing it a few times throughout the game. 68 and 58 went up to the ref and didn’t report . 70 came in running like he was reporting . They tried to confuse the Cowboys and their sneakiness cost them. So quit crying bec the Vikes are waiting for you and that could be another L
I was at the game the ref said number 70 on the loud speaker was eligible not 68 so she was right to throw the flag, not her fault the head ref called the wrong number
He should have went to the official by himself instead of having another player in between them and made sure the official heard him. I think they weren't lined up right to
They were lined up fine, they didn’t want to make it “gee Mr. Obvious” to Dallas’ defense. It’s the refs job to get who actually reported correctly! Garbage call, period.
70 was the problem he should have gone to the Hudl and 68 didn't make it clear to the referee . Trying to be slick. 70 try to influence the that's he was the one without saying anything. 68 said it softly.
Yes 68 goes over to the official. But he clearly never gets the officials attention. It’s literally 3 players in front of him, in one of the loudest stadiums in the nfl this year. Decker and Dan Campbell should have made it clear because we can all agree we never heard them say 68 was reporting in as eligible. So, the lions need to take accountability in that rather than thinking the ref is supposed to see through #58 and hear #68 while looking at #70.
This is weak. Clearly two large lineman walk right up to your face and just look at you?! And you don’t wonder why the fk they are in your face?! Did the lineman less than five feet away, directly in front of him need to flail his arms?! The NFL needs to own this mistake. The clear ignorance of the ref in this case.
They walked out of the huddle to him. He announced #70 who he barely looked at at all before walking away from 68. If he was able to announce 70, but not 68 who made it much more obvious then 🤷
Exactly I was there he said number 70 was eligible loud and clear. Too many players went up to the ref to confuse the cowboys and just ended up confusing the ref. #70 was the one reporting eligible all game long so the ref didn’t even look at 68 it’s clear on video. And that wouldn’t have been fair for the cowboys bc the ref called 70 so they didn’t cover 68
Definitely a poor call but Dallas also got called for tripping the drive prior that would’ve sealed the game. Poor reffing from this crew all season. NFL needs to make a drastic change. Let’s start by idk making refs full-time so that they can become more consistent with better callings
