I have been speed training for a few months now and follow you guys and watch the LD comps. I just wanna go faster and faster and hit way further. But, there are alot of parts of my swing that need attention and this move is certainly one of them. Thanks Josh for the tip. I will def work on this drill as well. I even have a few LD driver setups myself just not used to the length of them. I feel like my backswing has to be longer and slower and then make sure Im turning faster coming thru the ball. I have different weighted drivers that I use when playing also. I have bascially become my own club builder and fitter by tons of research. Big shout out to yall. Thanks.
I naturally get the trail arm way back on driver, but ive always heard it called "overswinging" what are the disclaimers about that? Seems like this move ends up making me steep. (Say hello to the two way miss😭)
Well it most certainly could and to clarify we do not recommend this for every golfer. A lot of times in that scenario the arms run on because the body stops turning back so we get some independent arm motion and that is not a good thing. If you are going to have this move in there you need to have a big enough body turn to support it. Hope that helps.
